Some found it copied from Entombed. It may be true or false, I don't care. Having been an Entombed fan for ages this doesn't sound swedish at all to me - this just sounds Gorefest playing it's own kind of death'n roll: with great soli, perfect riffs, a lot of feeling, and, obviously, a unique voice. I love good death'n roll and old school death metal anywhere it comes from. And this song is just one of the few that get close to perfection. "La Hollande, l'autre pays du death metal."
NO ONE sounds like Jan-Chris. You can try to sound like him, emulate the guy, which is different. But I'd have to see a youtube vid to believe anyone sounds just like Jan-Chris De Koeijer. I'm a vocalist who can imitate lots of death and black voices (besides having my own style), and he has one of the most difficult voices ever.
One of my favourite songs when I was twelve or so and pretty depressed from life: CAUSE MY TIME WILL COME! (Fuck... that line is not from thi song and I can't find it... :-o But, hey, it was more than 20 years ago, wasn't it? ;) )
The music styles are very similar, aren't they? The whole early 90s Century Media/Nuclear Blast metal bands are among the very worst I have ever heard, next to Melodic Metal. But Entombed, and Gorefest, were good. However, most of the bands in that genre sucked; especially Unleashed!

I think the songwriting is fairly good ,not technical but very catchy(vocals fuckin rule)
stop whining, they are good at what they do, and don't copy anyone.
Gorefest have good sound with there music instruments but the volcals sound bad even for a death metal band. Great someones going to get mad.

gorefest is not a great band in terms of their music's being melodic.their songs are not catchy but the vocal is cool!!!
