I like the colors. Not sure how I really feel about this though. Maybe Walmart can do a competing a "Nemesis Prime" or "Megatron" with their logo on that? A Walmart grampa greeter Megatron in a blue vest vs. a Target-employee Optimus Prime. LOL
My guess is that’s probably because it would look too similar to the VNR release given the only difference in color would be he’d have black instead of blue. I would have still preferred that since the robot mode would have had some interesting coloring with black and white parts being hidden away in vehicle mode and revealed in robot mode, but we sadly don’t get to choose. I just hope they reuse that mold because VNR Optimus is such a good figure.

I guess it's fitting to have a shorter, 'pup' trailer for this I sure hope they have more up their sleeves than just this for tomorrow. Kinda weird to drop this on the start of Walmart Collector Con too. Mind you, Walmart deserves a little shade with how abysmally they handle their exclusives
I work at Walmart I just bought toxitron on clearance and it's a good mold but where I live we don't have a Target but on my days off I end up having to go to Walmart and everyone ask me how I'm doing and I tell them all the time I be doing a lot better if we had a Target this figure hits my heart my it's one of my must pickups on my list 😂
What really could have been added is a red target ball micromaster; they could have used any ball-shaped transformer like Unicron’s moon or one of those bot-bots balls, I.e. soccer ball…?
The only molds that siege ravage was used for is Netflix ravage Shattered glass ravage And bullseye Wow just wow siege ravage is a neglected mold They could’ve repainted him into Glit,howlback and stripes
Clearance pick up for sure. There's better stuff Hasbro could be putting out but they decide to put resources into this?! I mean if Target is paying for this, more power to them. This is the stuff that should be exclusive, not figures that most collectors really want.
Cute colors, but wholly unnecessary. Does this mean Ravage and Laserbeak are on seperate sprues. Been wanting repaints of those (Siege & Earthrise versions) for years.
I was interested right up to the mentioned ditched weapons. Then to give it a $5 increase to boot. No thanks. I'm going to wait on this guy even though it's a cool deco. Grant it I'm sure a 3rd party will make replacement weapons to complete him. I just think if they're going to replace the weapons with a minicon it shouldn't bump up the price. The only way I see this needing to cost more is if this trailer cost more to make than the legacy laser optimus prime trailer. But I highly doubt that even if they put roller back in too that it'd cost more to produce.
