  • - Hey guys welcome back to Culture Football for a post match analysis of yesterday's Champions league action featuring FC Barcelona taking on Slavia Prague.
    - Now for those of you that doesn't know this I'm a big Barcelona fans so disappointing matches like this I take very personally
    - This is a team of filled with world class players top to bottom and as clueless as Valverde player selection and tactics are we should still be doing better than this
    - We walked away with one point from a game that a team like Barcelona should be winning especially at home.
    - It was a very uninspiring performance at Nou Camp
    - This is coming after a stunning 3-1 Lost to Levante in La Liga at the weekend
    - As fans we were hoping Barcelona would bounce back and dismantle Slavia but we were wrong
    - We leaned on our Talisman Lionel Messi as usual and he had numerous chances to score but he was stopped by the wood work and the fantastic Ondrej Kolar.
    - Ondrej performance between the post ensured the visitors earned a point today
    - On the other end Barca defence was cut open on many occasions causing Marc-Andre ter Stegen to come to our rescue
What does it mean? More questions for Valverde
    - After their collapse at Levante on Saturday, Valverde would have expected an emphatic response from his side. It never arrived. Messi was unfortunate not to break the deadlock on numerous occasions, but Barca's inability to find a decisive goal and their continued issues at the back will only raise more questions for their embattled boss.
    Another Alba Injury
    - Aside from the frustration of a uninspired draw against a side they should have beaten Barcelona has been dealt a big Injury blow.
    - Jordi Alba exited at half-time with a hamstring problem, as the injuries begin to pile up for him this season.
    - Jordi is a key part of this team, his connection and chemistry with Lionel Messi is vital to this Barcelona side.
    Messi Playing False 9
    - When we heard Suarez won't feature in this match-up we all though Griezmann was going to play in the center but instead he played on the wing
    - Now as a fan I would just like to say that I believe Griezmann struggles have to do with his positioning. He needs to play in the middle, that’s his preferred position. This should be the time for a transition, we bought him as a replacement for Suarez so play him in that role.
    Dismal Dembele
    - Few players shone for Barca beyond Messi, but Ousmane Dembele's performance was particularly disappointing. The forward was sloppy in possession and frequently wasted promising openings on the break.
    What's next?
    - Barca turn their attention to a league match with third-bottom Celta Vigo on Saturday. Their next assignment in the Champions League sees Borussia Dortmund visit Catalonia. Czech leaders Slavia face Teplice at the weekend, and they will seek the scalp of Inter in the Champions League later this month.
