Jeff Wald was good for Helen Reddy in spite of his personal demons. I met him and her together and it was mutual admiration and respect.

I remember Wald’s cocaine addiction and thought that he’d died years ago.
Wald was a major showbiz entrepreneur. Managed a lot of big stars, from Donna Summer to Elliott Gould to Roseanne. One of Reddy's albums contains Love Song for Jeffrey, written for him - despite the fact he was often abusive and a serious drug addict.
