I agree, I can’t even find the strength to leave a relationship with a narcissist who abuse me. Willingly walking away from someone who loves you and who you love to better both of your future is a completely foreign concept to me and must require unbelievable strength.
This is such a healthy example of unconditional love & true respect for one another. Sometimes in the culture of relationships, it has been normalized to feel possession of one another. Watching you 2 discuss these topics with so much compassion and articulation is so refreshing ♥️

Just remember to be consistent with each other; change your expectations of each other, call, visit and you will be fine. It gonna be rough in the beginning but if you especially change your expectations of each other you'll both do great.

My sister moved to Spain. Her and her bf stayed together, she stayed there for 2.5 years, then when she came back they lived in different states to pursue their careers and then got jobs in the same state and got married later!
Koleen..As someone who did it to pursue my now very successful business, it’s not worth it.
I miss that person every single day. There will never be another guy like him. I am happy for him now, but ultimately, he saw that I was willing to put my passion over my love for him. I never looked at it that way until I was alone. Good luck x

I agree 10000%. Dating is so backwards these days.. people are more focused on their careers and making money instead of building a life and family. If they love each other they would have come up with a better scenario than breaking up and her moving to another country, but to each their own.

I think Koleen seems more hardened and detached from the relationship. I think she loves Dixon, but she doesn't seem to be IN LOVE with him. Because then she wouldn't consider a whole TWO years away from the love of her life just to find herself. Also, she seems to be more of the driving force, that doesn't want him to follow her to London. "He should get ahead in his career before he tinks of following" .... I don't know about that. I hope they teach me better, but it doesn't seem like this is a strong partnership. More so like a very good friendship🙂

I just did the same in a Phase where our lifes evolved very different. It never endet helathy cause one always had more feelings then the other.
