Why is she saying "see you in hell, jedi!"? Is there a christian belief in star wars? Have I missed a part where they have a religion with a "Hell"? Is there something in the canon/lore (that they claim is not relevent but also is relevent because its ok when they say so) that explains this?
This overpriced fanfiction can't go away fast enough! Sometimes the acting is mid and the music is "ok-ish"! but beyond that the show is almost as badly paced as the Rings of Power with sense of timelines! I'll put this show on the same list as Rebel Moon and Rings of Power as something I'll never watch again!

I thought it had to be another one's crystal. That's why Anakins didn't turned red when he killed everyone on episode 3. Only the frozen character from Jedi Survivor bled his own crystal. Plus they explain you how Vader made master Kirak crystal bleed.

Ahsoka says in the Mandalorian about Grogu that she won’t train him, and says that by not training him his talent will lapse through lack of use.
But then you have someone like Sabine who has never really used it her entire life and has very little training. Struggles with the simplest of stuff and then the dam bursts and she can do stuff.
Then you have Rey who has never even heard much about the force and then after one mind meld can use jedi mind tricks, and defeat a supposedly skilled individual with the force who’s family is strong in the force and go toe to toe.
Luke who was apparently too old to begin training does just fine.
It is whatever they want it to be.
Because she and the force are *FEMALE*! That's literally one of their primary messages. Screw making sense, female = superior!

The terrible execution as well as many other things stems from the female mind to look at everything from an emotional perspective rather than logic. She should’ve got a male to help her balance it in the same way. The last shot w/ the holding hands over a lightsaber was so female. From a logical standpoint of what the Sith are, the foundation in general. It made no sense.

Well...we're left with two options regarding Yoda.
A. Vernestra lies to him, and the 500+ Yoda is somehow unable to detect her deception.
B. Vernestra told the truth to him, and he kept this information hidden for over 100 years.
This looks really bad for Yoda. Either he's an idiot, or he's part of the cover up, and by likely making him the former, it really breaks a lot of his character's supposed wisdom. Yes, he can grow and learn, but he should already by fairly wise at this point.
Ngl I've seen Yoda as kind of an idiot since he could never figure out that Palps was the Sith Lord until way too late or that Anakin might be turning evil. Not being able to call green bean's lie here seems in character for him

-why Osha, Qmir and Mae didn't leave the planet together when they clearly could

How quickly Vernestra made it from the Jedi Temple to Brendok makes episode 7 even more confusing. Given that it takes about 10 minutes for that trip they didn't have to camp out for 7 weeks.

I think this show is dog shit but to be fair you can't blame it for introducing the concept of hell into the Star Wars universe, Han Solo mentioned hell in Empire Strikes Back when he's on Hoth, as he leaves Echo base to rescue Luke "then I'll see you in hell".

Thank you! I've had problems with this shows handling of lore and have kinda brushed it off but this is just taking it too far. It's like the said screw it, I'm just going to make my own lore up and then cry when everyone complains about me trampling on 40 years of established lore
The crystal cracked when the savor was thrown to the floor, she was holding the sabor while killing sol with all her hate. She bled the crystal with lore
Except that's not how Disney has ever presented this process before. Canonically in Disney era comics you needed to find an isolated place strong in the force to take the crystal out and do a specific Sith ritual to completely crush it's free will and base color through sheer force of will in a battle of attrition that usually took several days of nonstop concentration.
It makes no sense for them to just change instantly like that, even when cracked the crystal itself still has a will and actively resists you if you aren't compatible...
Thats perhaps the saddest part of all this, they cannot even remember their OWN lore from the last few years ago...
LOL yes it is. Many Sith believe the proper way to bleed a kyber crystal is to steal one from a Jedi, but you do not have to be a Sith and all you actually need is a crystal to pour all of your anger, fear, contempt, rage, hated to bleed it.

The problem with the lightsaber changing colour "magically" isn't really a problem at all. It's canon. It's called "bleeding" a kyber crystal, essentially corrupting it. So they weren't making anything up there.
The main problem with bleeding a crystal is that its difficult. Even Darth Vader himself struggled to do it as the crystal will fight back against the individual. It threw him against a wall and the effort needed by Vader to actually break the "will" of the crystal nearly caused the cave he was in to collapse.
But yet again, we get a Mary Sue from Disney who can just do it like that with zero effort, because patriarchy or something idk

As its partly willpower thing as well, so I would believe a fallen jedi with suffient willpower and hatred could bleed a kyber very easily. But I would there would only be few who could. Geran being one and now Osha but in oshas case it maybe due to her being birth using the vergence of the planet. But that's spectualation at best.

They weren't trying to give you any sort ending. Episode 8 was only to setup for season 2.

Pretty sure the showrunner thinks this IS the happy ending. Sol, Yord and Jehki are dead, Mae isn't being tried for murder, and Osha gets to run off and be evil with her new Sith Boyfriend. When you're writing a story with the perspective of "The Jedi are evil", this is the optimal outcome.

I didn't think it would have gotten worse but it did.
They don't even read their own canon. To Bleed a crystal you need to actually Hold onto it and force your will into it. All of your anger and negative emotions get poured into it and it isn't something like I am mad rawr and it turns read. It's a pretty negative thing to force a Light Side crystal to become Dark.
When Vader turns his Red there was almost an explosion of dark and light force pretty much fighting one another. The Crystal is pretty much alive with The Force and it doesn't want to go from Light to Dark and it resists. Hence why they call it Bleeding.

So I watched the rest of the video. TLDR: God I hate this show.
Disney canon is that you have to meditate on a Kyber crystal in order to turn it red. It's an involved process. None of that canon is shown here. Disney can't even cleave itself to its OWN canon. What a joke.
Osha being angry that Sol killed her mother is stupid. Does she have the right to be angry? Sure; but was Sol justified in killing the mother, ABSOLUTELY. She turned into a mist demon. The force choke was just so that Sol couldn't explain that he thought he was saving Osha when he took out her mother. Plot convenient force choke.
The Stranger wiping the memories of Mae is dumb. That's not a power the Force has. Misdirection, sure, but full-on mind wipe? No. This is what the whole prisoner-whose-face-was-being-mind-f'ed was "setting up" in the prison ship. This moment. Giving the Jedi and the Force more control over the minds of others than it should have. Also calls into question later Jedi not knowing about Order 66 since if Force users have that much control over the minds of others, then they should have been able to read that Order 66 existed in the Clone's programming.

For a Lucasfilm that has supposedly done away with the EU, they certainly seem to be cherry-picking a lot of Legends continuity and then completely fucking it up. For example, Bleeding a Kyber Crystal is an involved process, akin to a ritual, almost as involved as creating a lightsaber. It doesn't happen because you're "having a moment" Give me Star Wars back!! 🤬
