"They know where I am if they want it." XD
Ya...exactly
Not into group activity though.
Well I don't know and I want it!
Sorry too easy đ
I hate calls, texts, email... carrier pigeon allows me time to prepare to be out that day.
I can't even with you right now đ đ€ŠđŸââïžđ€Ł
I hate phone calls too, they make me so nervous and put me on the spot (so my brain tends to draw a blank and I can't think of what to say) so I never answer phone calls.
because you're a loser whoes afraid of confrontation.
As am I
@@rafewheadon1963 I am a loser and a coward but so would you be if you'd been through the same shit I've been through in life. I'm also not afraid to confront someone when they are being rude or hostile towards me.
Sameđ„
Ikr! And it's a massive problem when you're applying for jobs/mark yourself as looking on job portals. You get random 'cold calls', and these are interviews.. completely random, unscheduled..with the caller having the upper hand in the conversation by virtue of being the interviewer + the caller + the conversation starter + having the advantage of this being what she/he does for a living....plus!..it isn't even a proper to and fro conversation.. it's questions, multiple questions, and you're supposed to answer well. This calling thing and me being shy (till I break the ice) is so annoying! Like, you're not dumb, you're just shy and struggling with the awkwardness. But you come across as dumb and lose out.
Even with friends who aren't that close, I let the phone ring, mentally prepare myself for the conversation, about what I can possibly talk about, etc..apart from thinking 'why are they calling'!..and thinking of multiple possible reasons why..
finally somebody hates phone calls just as much as me!!!
Same here
I hate it when people canât take the hint that I want to get off the phone.
I put my phone on silent when I feel asocial and don't want to hear any calls. Then I call them back whenever I want to reconnect with civilization.
This woman speaks my language 100%!! đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»đđ»
Who would have thought that phone calls would be viewed as intrusive one day
tell them katherine! no more phone calls, we have messenger for a reason
The root problem is that phones have changed. We used to call a household, and whoever was home could pick up - or not. Calling a land line is less intrusive, and we should have changed the social etiquette when we switched to personal pocket phones but we didn't.
onmy computer2020gal you can literally unplug the phone cord.
@Anna M. You can put a land line on quite ring and there's no way a land line phone can ring if it's unplugged.
@@Zaihanisme
How can you "literally" unplug something?
Do you mean,
you can unplug it?
You can go your entire life without using the word literally, it's an unnecessary word,
you especially shouldn't use it
considering you clearly have no idea of it's meaning.
If you are not using metaphors or similies,
just say what you mean.
Don't say "literally,"
it just exposes your obvious linguistic limitations.
@@abegarfield7031 "it's meaning". Yeah, you're a classic pedant.
I hate getting phone calls while Iâm at home resting after work
â I donât wanna be seeing when Iâm talking â đ
If i want someone to see me when we are talking,i use Omegle.
I call people rarely, but if I do I like to start with "Sorry to interrupt your day ". Continue with the topic of conversation and at the end thank them for their time.
Awww-awww now I don't mind if you call me. đ
Yeah, man.
Manners are important.
4:35 That's horribly funny. I tried to keep a straight face but failed.
Geri is so ernest and so out of her comfort zone ; - )
If loving Katherine is wrong, then I have no wish to be right.
I love this episode sooo much đ
Me 2...but I don't agree that luv should b censored on the fone/newhere else cus I like my relationships but just...u no...2 a pt...ok?& Wen she said they no where I live that they could get me...lol
@@donaldbeetlestone7545 What are you saying
I prefer phone calls because they're two way and allow things to be sorted out quickly. It's the chit-chatters who prefer texting because they don't know how to finish a call.
Millennials don't video chat...... That's gen Z.....
I know nobody in my generation who videochats! ( I am gen z!)
No it's not us. It's definitely the millennials
@@Zalkenn well it's definitely not us.
Then who is it then if it's not yall?
My father in law is that type of person who video chats everyone and heâs a boomer đ€·ââïž
Mayte W. not video chat but me and my friends send video snaps of us talking to each other and sometimes voice messages on sc too instead of text
Superb.... đ and when I 'speak' to my mother, I do it through a clairvoyant as well! đ
I cover up my face too. Youâre not alone! Lol
Yep me too, if you want to chat come over for a tea or coffee
I made this my ringtone :D now Iâve trained people not to call me lol
Even before texting became a thing that we do regularly, I HATED calling people. I would literally write scripts for myself when I called people because I wanted to make sure I knew what I was going to say and not mess up and embarrass myself.
I still won't leave
an answer phone/machine message.
If I'm going to say something,
it's going to be pretty spectacular,
but I can't do that if I'm put on the spot.
You'll get a lot of "erms" and "ums."
I thought I was the only person that never answeers my phone.
Katherine is perfect
Oh my word! I can not believe you feel the same way and use your platform to say it as it is. Katherine Ryan for Primary Chief Queen Boss!!!
I hate phone calls so much my phone never leaves the house.
1000% hear her on this!!!!
As someone who is severely hearing impaired and wears hearing aids, I HATE talking on the phone. I always miss something and the sound quality is shit. And yes, I know they have Bluetooth technology for hearing aids-it just hasânt proven very efficient for me.
I haven't had a hard line since before 2000.
I almost never answer my flip phone especially if I know who it is.
The phone is for when I want to communicate.
I mostly use the computer for voice calls with google voice.
I prefer texts or emails
Watching this in 2020 hits different.
I agree w/Kathrine, fuckin bill collectors.... the nerve!đđđ€Ł
irl interaction>texting>>>>>>>>>>>>>>phone calls istg phone calls are the most anxiety-inducing thing ever
Old town road dance đ
I hate phonecalls, just text me and give me time to think on my answer and do so on my own time.
I do not accept phone calls on my phone. If someone phones me, I message them back, or contact them through facebook or video games.
I prefer talk than text đ€Șđ€Ł
I feel the same actually
Now we got video calls.
Used to call family on Sunday afternoon. Now it tends to be group chat (no video).
i don't often have aa problem with calling per se but when people take forever to say hi,hey, how are you, what's up and not get to the point and then proceed to keep me on the line until my ear is warm, they effectively forfeit their calling privileges
can we put crying laughing emojis on thumbnails into room 101?
What? đ€Łđ
Kathryn is SO right. I had an over THREE HOUR conversation yesterday, and every Sunday I am on the phone to my parents for two plus hours guaranteed. Just NO! Stop calling me damn it
When your mum and dad are gone (passed on) you'll long for those long conversations. Cherish it while you have it.
Trust me. I am not gonna miss those calls at all!
PaladinesAngel hahahahaha
@@PaladinesAngel yes u will, sadly.
sweetboo1022 I donât think so. Not everyone has a good family
Katherine acting like she's not a millennial. If you are born in the '80's and '90's, you are in fact a millennial.
I don't mind the phone calls one bit. And I call my mom every single day, despite the fact that we have the same conversation over and over again. Still love talking to her. đ§Ą
I'm a millennial and so are my friends. NONE OF US VIDEO CHAT. It's Gen Z that you're talking about Katherine.
How old are you though? Because the term millennial has been classified as covering those born between 1981 and 1996, meaning that while those in their late 20s or in their 30s may not use video calling quite so often, those around the early 20 mark do use it rather frequently.
I was born in 1991 my younger sister in 1998, neither of us facetime. But my youngest sister 2002 facetimes ALWAYS- it sucks totally a gen z thing
Um a Gen Z here... I was born in 2002 and I also think video chat is one of the worst inventions ever. No one my age uses it, and the only video chats I've ever been in have been with my grandparents who live in China (initiated by them) and those calls usually make me want to shoot myself. Phone calls are also horrible- we usually use social media to communicate. The only use I can think of for video chatting is with a long distance romantic partner.
youâre definitely sounding like a Gen Z with how offended youâre gettingđ
I'm gen...errrr....whatever gen 1965 is! I started using video calls when they first came out (I think it was around 2005 or thereabouts) until the novelty wore off and I was caught out too many times as an unshaven, messy-haired lout.
I must be weird. I grew up when you didn't know who was calling, so you just answered the phone. Now with so many scam calls I won't pick up. I'd rather you email or text first asking if it's OK to call.
i donât understand why people answer their phone to numbers they donât know! theyâll text/leave a message if itâs important or google the number!!
3:52, I think she has a resemblance to Katherine Middleton.
Why not do an undercover report on Capita practices and how they abuse the power they dont have seeing as they are just salesmen?
Watchdog could cover it?
Just a thought.
Don't get me started on those people. I attempted to pay for my TV Licence online and it appeared to go through. My Banking app said the payment was pending. The next thing I know it didn't go through because of an Error on their part. Then I get the threatening letters weeks later demanding payment despite me trying unsuccessfully to pay on numerous occasions online. Funnily enough after I received the threatening letter, I tried again...and what do you know it worked without a hitch.
2:55 aaaaand cut away to random smiling woman
Isn't that ginger spice?
I have a rule that if someone texts me and we reply three times, I voice call them. If they want to converse, speaking is easier than typing and we spent more than 20 million years developing the capacity for language!
i guess....there goes the probability of phone sex str8 oyt the window.
Companies are still obsessed with making you phone them in an age of emails and instant messaging. Creeps me out tbh.
i dont like people calling me as well. ive set rules with my parents not to give out my number to cousins or anyone who claim to be close relative. (i dont even have my siblings' contact number). i prohibit them calling me specially during sleeping hours unless it's an emergency. i also specifically dont answer unregistered numbers.
and i also dont like texting. so if i need to contact somebody, id call them.
i dont know what to call my attitude. hypocrite?
Who?
People of your mum and dadâs age naturally call on the phone. It is a response with what we do when we want to speak. Itâs not as good as real face to face, but come on help out.
She is like a teenager rebelling.. : I
It isn't family or friends, but the damn telemarketing disguising themselves (ID) as the neighbor next door.
Where does Katherine live?
sweiland75 in North London
In Canada, turn left at the moose.
@@jemiebridges3197 I liver in Canada. I can tell you that she does not live left of the moose.
Why does she even have a phone?
this so much! I hate phone calls so much. I text someone work for work stuff and they call me! WTF are your fingers broken, SEND A TEXT YOU FOOL. I cant hear you, and even if I could I cant understand their accents FFS how deep in India were you hired from... TEXT ME
Sometimes things take 10 minutes to explain in writing and thirty seconds by talking
@@CyberEJ no, it doesn't. Unless you're a noob and can't type
@@Mikej1592 actually it does. With all the follow up questions and pauses between texts etc, can even take a lot longer. A phone call could be over in a minute. I haven't got time to spend 30 minutes texting back and forth with you. If you can't pick up the phone, you're on your own. Good luck.
She's lowkey a funny Amy shchumer
Weird!
Let's hear what Katherine says regarding a Markle/ Harry run country in Canada separate from Canada.
Gerry is so thick.
Just text.
She has no accent but she speaks with British syntax and wording.
...no accent?
Sounds Canadian, or at least north American to me.
Here's something that'll blow tour mind, North Americans have accents to every other English speaker in the world. Including Canadians.

No...no ur not...lol...ok? Already!?...
Donald Beetlestone shut up you werenât your just jealous
Geri is unbearable in this episode
Idk...I luv the British accents tho...ded sexy...I should no...I'm British & Jamaican so...ya...there's that...
Who is she? And are you just saying that because she's female?
@@andrewroberts8139 No, I'm not. She's one of the Spice Girls, but if you watch this episode she has absolutely no sense of humour whatsoever. And a thoroughly dislikeable personality.
But it's not because she's a woman. For the record, I'm a big fan of Katherine Ryan.
I like Ryan shame its the bbc if ryan seen how bbc treated canadians I dont think she would be happy on there
