I encountered someone in a community I was in some years back who had odd behavior that I didn’t understand. He did/said some things that were annoying me and I pressed him on it asking what his deal was. Everyone else in the community kinda looks out for him and and one of the told me privately to be patient and easy with him because he’s autistic and not to mind his quirks, which totally changed my perspective on him and made a lot of his actions makes sense to me. One his most noticeable tendencies was that he would have every single word capitalized when he typed. After that, on the occasion whenever I would see somebody type a paragraph with each word being capitalized, it always makes me wonder what their reason for doing it is.
I know that story is completely unnecessary, but I’m just saying it because I figured that if I say where my curiosity comes from, you might realize that me asking it wasn’t in a critical of confrontational way.
