I have over 100 figures but now I’ve fallen out of love of hot toys. I just can’t justify the extortionate prices paid for plastic even though I have the funds, my money would go far further being placed elsewhere. With everything going on in the world hot toys collecting seems irrelevant. I suddenly lost interest after my last purchase padame. I thought I would be collecting for life but now my only appreciation for hot toys is watching your videos and enjoying them. Keep doing what your doing I Wish you the best😉

So good to see all the droids side by side at 05:20. It's interesting to see the small variations between the models. I'd always wondered what 3PO would look like in a more classic robot colouring of silvery steel, and this guy answers that question: he'd look amazing. I have no attachment to this character at all, so he's an easy pass but it's really nice to see HT offering goodies for those who want extended variety.
Side note, this morning I preordered the Stormtrooper with Death Star Environment from Lee at TGTBaTR, so I am thrilled that eventually I'll finally have a stormtrooper of my own. Yay!

I know it’s effectively a repaint with some slight variations to the wires etc but it’s just so unique and unlike C-3PO that it makes sense to have the contrast in the collection! Plus I love the baddie droids 😅 Completely understand collectors passing when they have no connection to the character tho. Totally understandable.

Yes! The eyes are very dark when the light is off. They are even darker than normal C-3PO because of the red lenses! Thanks for watching! 👊🏻

From announcement to being in the collection was a crazy fast turnaround for Hot Toys! Gutted you missed out on this one. I know a few resellers who have still got some in stock but it's whether you want to risk it (and the price is steep of course). Thanks for watching 👊🏻

Looks a great figure. Do think it is a shame it is a limited release, as some collectors will not be able to have the pair of droids.
Very odd decision to make it limited isn't it. Like if I'd not been able to get this there would be no way I'd get BT-1 on its own. Bit of a nonsense. Maybe they limited it so they could just get it out and released quicker? Cheers for watching mate 👊🏻
What is going on at Hot Toys? They go from pre-ordering a figure a year in advance and over producing unpopular figures to having one that everybody wants but no one can have that gets announced and a week later people are getting them. This doesn't add up 🤷♂️. Great video dude, looks awesome!

Hot Toys are a law unto themselves 😅 So odd how like you say they can announce something and then we wait 12 - 18 months for it to release, but then they announce something else and we can get it on the shelf within 2 weeks! I wish I liked C-3P0 enough to pick him up. I really love the look of that ATOC version of him, it's beautiful! Awesome work man! Understandable David, if there's no connection there it makes the decision to pass a lot easier 👍🏻 Honestly my favourite is this one (although is it a trick question as technically this isn't a C-3PO 😅)? But out of the three figures its this one at the moment closely followed by ROTJ C-3PO. But I expect ROTJ will be my favourite once the novelty of this one wears off! ROTJ is pretty stunning! If they do an ANH oil bath / shiny Yavin celebration version though that will be the ultimate C-3PO! I imagine 0-0-0 sounds like when they factory reset C-3PO in Rise of Skywalker (when his eyes turn red). So yes!

Congrats on getting him, would have been cool to added it to the collection to, but for a C-3PO repaint it is way overpriced. Definitely skipping this and will definitely skip every limited edition figure just to make collectors go bezerk and fill the wallets of resellers.. it a shame that this hype has reached this hobby too.
It is very overpriced tbh! I may get to a point where I do what you do and start to skip all the limited editions (or get them cheaper later down the line If possible). It's getting a bit out of hand otherwise! Thanks for watching mate 👊🏻

Just a regular 9-5 mate! To begin with I sold all my other collectibles and shifted that to Hot Toys. That was about 30 years worth of collecting 😅
But I appreciate it’s not easy as that as everyone’s circumstances are very different 🙏🏻👊🏻
