I believe The Warning Army have already told you to dive in The Warning rabbit hole if you are interested in intellectual songs with strong messages. If you had dived in then you would have found out that Pau, the drummer, is an exceptional singer. Starting from Black Holes to Revenant & Breathe in their Error album she has sung some of the most impactful songs for The Warning. Her soulful ballads sung in her passionate raspy voice can make you cry.
She is, also, the band's primary songwriter. Her deep metaphorical poetry sets this group apart from the rest. She wrote Black Holes when she was 13 after a family friend died due to addiction. As a 17 year old she composed Narcisista as an acerbic retort to some Mexican critics who had been badmouthing The Warning for singing in English only.
Disciple is about the effect of social media on our lives. How information is manipulated to keep people under control. In this song Dany, the guitarist, is the antagonist - starts with "the sun is YOUR enemy today". Pau is the disciple who sings "the sun is MY enemy today". That is why they trade vocals back & forth as they lay out the message in the song.
Pau got inspired about this song in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home wrote & composed the song including the intro bass line on her piano and then called her sisters. Yes, the intro bass is composed by her.
As others have already pointed out you must listen to "Queen of the Murder Scene" a concept album that Pau wrote in middle school when she was going through her emo phase. This album is about a girl in unrequited love who is torn between good & evil personalities. The album explores death, love, self harm & lunacy just like Roger Waters did in The Dark Side of the Moon. QOTMS was published in 2018 when the girls were 18, 16 & 13!!!
Every song by The Warning demands to be listened with reference to its lyrics & the back story, if any.
The most intellectual band to emerge in a very long time. They are much more than "catchy riffs".

Condivido la tua analisi: queste ragazze sono genuine e mai banali ed è il motivo principale per cui sono un loro grande fan, a precindere dal fatto che alcune canzoni possano piacermi decisamente più di altre... e comunque quelle che mi piacciono di meno sono sempre delle gran belle canzoni... insomma, qua c'è sostanza!

Le seguo da un po' e migliorano sempre! In live rendono sicuramente meglio perché tengono il palco e sono sempre precise .....difficile sentire errori Queste suonano forte davvero! Hanno pezzi molto validi anche più vecchi che non mettono in scaletta per proporre i nuovi che sono cmq ottimi.....sono tutte e tre molto brave e con soli tre strumenti hanno un suono pieno e potente......meritano il successo che stanno avendo anche in Europa ne sentiremo parlare sempre di più! 🤟🤟🤟

Durante il tour che le Warning hanno fatto questa estate insieme a Halestorm. Arejai Hale ha suonato la batteria per permettere a Paulina di cantare Narcisista al centro del palco.
Una delle migliori canzoni delle Warning e i "discepoli" presenti nel video sono membri del Warning Army! Comunque come è stato già detto il tema principale e "un'accusa" su come viene percepito il mondo tramite internet e nei canali di informazioni. Se ti è piaciuta Disciple è tempo di fare la reazione di Narcisista, versione live del Metropolitan.
Bella, molto orecchiabile e con bei virtuosismi canori. Mi sarei aspettato uteriori virtuosismi e cambiamenti "al volo" del rirmo, ma per me è 💯

Ciao Kriss. No il recente conflitto non c'entra niente, hanno scritto questo brano nel 2019 e solo a causa della pandemia la sua pubblicazione è avvenuta in tempi più recenti. La canzone è una critica ai media e soprattutto al web (i tuoi occhi sanguineranno davanti a quello schermo) e di non diventare troppo facilmente discepoli (Disciple) dei pseudo profeti della rete.
P.S. Capisco che vuoi prima vedere un po di video ufficiali, ma t'assicuro che ti stai perdendo tutta l'energia che queste ragazze sprigionano sul palco, batterista inclusa. Comunque c'è sempre tempo per rimediare.... e io aspetto. 👍👍👍
