    If action movies have taught us anything, it’s that most of us will spend a few moments hanging off the precipice of a building at some point in our lives! In order to survive, you’ll need strong wrists. And although you may think your wrists are stronger than the average bear’s, hearing or feeling a snap or click each time you move them may sow seeds of doubt. Perhaps it’s a specific exercise or position that triggers the noise, or maybe a simple flick of the wrist is all it takes. This might not cause much discomfort but it’s completely normal to wonder: Why is this happening? Is this cause for concern? And is there anything that can be done to silence the symphony?
    A.J. answers these questions from a scientific perspective.

    The exercise suggested are excellent. My son has this cracking sound for a month now. After the tennis ball movements, the sound was miraculously gone. I’m going to ask him to stretch and strengthen these muscles everyday. Thank you for sharing these wonder tips, the Vdo is well made, concise and exercise samples are easy to follow. I will recommend your channel to others.

    Thank you very much for this information. I spent months on wrist exercices and massages for my tight clicking wrist. Nothing seemed to alleviate the tightness. I started randomly massaging the rest of the forearm only to discover a tender spot halfway up the forearm on the ulnar side. Just one deep massage with heating ointment took away 60% of the tightness almost immediately.

    Hey A.J, love your videos!
    Yesterday I strained my neck for the 3rd time this month while lifting heavy groceries for too long... Getting it checked by a doctor soon.
    I lift weights and don't want to stop. I'm wondering if you can still lift weights with a neck strain?
    And if so, what adjustments would you reccomend?

    Be careful with the tennisball exercise, everyone. Back in 2022 my inflammation on my forearm flared up like crazy from trying to massage it in this fashion.

    Happened to me playing football, I’m a goalkeeper, it bothers me, it snaps only and when I turn my wrist towards my pinky side and when I extend my arm, any other movement doesn’t cause it to snap and I can’t save a shot as the sudden movement will cause pain to the wrist making it tender and not allowing me to play on
    My X-ray came back as no bone injury, I’ve seen a chiropractor, done shockwaves and lastly he recommended an injection which i refused to.
    Physio went against everything the chiro said and said I should take it easy on it and do strengthening exercises.
    Anyone here have the same problem? This is driving me crazy!

    Literally everything just made my wrists pop even more and they popped like crazy doing all this plus my knees popped doing that floor one, and I'm only 22 and it won't stop UHHHG this is frustrating, my wrists only became this bad after I started crocheting a week ago I literally just started this hobby and I'm fucked up

    • @fatihyoldas2597
      @fatihyoldas2597 Před rokem

      Knees popping is actually pretty common and as long as it doesn’t hurt when it pops it shouldn’t be a problem. But for your wrist you should probably see a doctor because the internet can mislead you sometimes, either from misinformation or at most cases wrong diagnosis which can cause more harm than good.
      So if it doesn’t stop and it bothers you I recommend you go see a doctor
