Fascinating to see how the animation has improved and also how the animation *style* has changed.
Style changes I've spotted:
- No deformation of the individual body parts, instead having them (mostly) swiveling from their joints.
- Change in rendering... something (not a 3D rendering expert). The reflectivity and such is noticeably altered, generally to be more flat. (I also wanna say there's a rim lighting change?)
- Facial expressions are entirely 2D, with the eyes being lit regardless of local lighting (similar to modern Dreamworks films)
- Beveled edges on all characters.
- Textures of blocks are changed to be simpler, similar to official Minecraft renders.

Problem at 3:49! In the 3rd cell, for a second we see bees before they get erased four frames before the trapdoors open and release the actual bees (paired with the yellow lights and villager yelling)

A few more errors I found!
2:14 houses a very goofy lookin lever.
At 2:15, villager #5's eye whites disappear oddly in the TV monitor.
I thought it was intentional for a second but then realized that if it was, then villager #5's pupils should be green screened into the background, not his eye whites.

In the background of 2:38, there appears to be a door and a torch on a tree??? Might just be a background detail though.
There are two villagers with two eyebrows at around 4:53 in the background (one got shot out of the first shotgun, the other one was shot out of the second shotgun).
On that note, I love how one of the villagers that gets launched out of the gun just flies into orbit lol.
At 4:55, two black squares randomly appear on one of the villager's faces for a single frame. This happens again to another villager at 4:57.
The villager's head clips out of the window for a single frame at 5:20 before the window breaks.
At 6:03, the smoke particles in the background randomly snap upwards a little bit.
It's fun to see some of the goofy errors in these videos lol. Obviously, I don't blame them at all for missing these errors, since I understand that 3D animation can be very difficult and wonky (and most of these errors are really nitpicky lol).
Besides, all the other fun background details like the orbiting balloon at 5:53 more than make up for it.

I like to imagine doing the days weather report is like being called into Jury duty for the villagers. Everyone in the village is expected to be called upon to report the weather at some point in their life, which is why they expected Wooly to show up for the weather report despite him not being formally employed by the news station.
However, they forgot that wooly is simply an animal that has the ability to talk and not an official resident of the village, making him exempt from weatherman duty.
