The best thing about this dance was that almost 80% of the moves were unapologetically desi/South Asian...its the kind of dance moves you would see in the almost every part of India/Pakistan/South Asia and the dance group mostly being non-south asian nailed every move as if they were South Asian...they got that South Asian swag down right correct

The reaction before "I'll be missing you" was because the guy getting marrried(Suleman malik) had choregraphed this piece 11 years ago and the OG quick crew(Nasir,Suleman and Bilal) had performed it you'll find it in their channel. It's feels so good to see them blow up all of a sudden had been following them since 2012.
Not just that, actually it's supposed to be a joke, like saying they lost their brother cause he got married, hence the whole crying drama. If you noticed they included a step where they pointed to the groom during the "night they took my friend" verse. A few reasons why they chose that song, it wasn't because Suleman choreographed the dance it was because it's a dance they are all familiar with.

We do a “sangeet” at all our weddings where we do a dance medley on all latest bollywood songs. Normally done by family members - it is fun time! They were doing the same for their friend. Felt very familiar

Basically, the leaders of this group are pakistani/norwegian but it has members from all over the place including india. Considering their pakistani heritage, it speaks for the influence of indian music industry on them.

It's one of their leaders getting married that's why they are performing. They are all friends.
THEY ARE ALL FRIENDS. They're not paid or hired or anything like that. Quickstyle is a dance studio, who have choreographed dnces for many famous artists, including 5 BTS. It is run by twin brothers (one of the twins is the groom and the other is the one with beard, in brown suit) and their good friend (guy at the start). The other guys are dancers at the studio, and they're all very good friends. Some of them have known each other for 10+ years

They are Pakistani but majority of the songs they selected for the wedding were Indian. So that goes to show you the appreciation for Indian music crosses all borders. Also, the first song was Balochi. As someone of Indian heritage, I appreciated listening to that song a lot.

The first song is Pakistani and the rest are Indian except that English song. I'm a Pakistani and i love Indian music as well but you can't forget that Bollywood literally copies every Pakistani song. Don't take credit from people who deserves it

These dances felt so homely and like so nostalgic and mix of emotions and yes not all but most south asian muslim weddings are much more compact than say a hindu wedding and muslim don't require a hell lot of space just like a Christian wedding obviously they can go huge but yeah in general a Hindu wedding is much larger in scale, but judging by the venue here it must be some kind of an arrangement for like small union of family or something.
Yup true. Except for some weddings(obv. from the upper classes) most of the muslims weddings are compact like we have 4 to 5 days events but still not that huge. There'll be a bridal shower, dholki night, mehendi, mayon, then baraat and then valima. If anyone wants to add more event then they go for separate sangeet day otherwise in normal households we do sangeet night on dholki event. And it is obviously not that big. If i talk about my family specifically we don't do these events. just a bridal shower baraat and valima..

The group is the winner of Norway Talent,was founded by two Pakistani - Norwegian Brothers Bilal and Suleiman and their childhood Thai- Norwegian friend Nasir. They are professional dancer but they don't really dance on weddings. They have choreographed 50+j-pop and k-pop songs. This is Pakistani group form.
The groom is Pakistani name Suleiman Malik and his brother name Bilal Malik.
The boy with bun named Nasir Sirikhan.
They are group which dance on different culture, that's why it's called quick style.

& 95% of the Songs are from #India & #Indian dance form. & These such Sangeet Dance Culture is prominent in #Indian Wedding celebrations.
So the owners of the QUICK STYLE group have roots from Pakistan (As far as i know) and probably this was a wedding event (A sangeet or mehendi which usually indians and pakistani arranged)

The guy getting married, his brother(in the beige colour suite with the beard) and one of the other guys(one who started the dance in the front) are the creators of this crew. The 2 brothers are born in Pakistan and the 3rd guy is born in Thailand I think. All raised in Norway. So this was for one of the brother's wedding.

The bearded guy in the light colored suit is the brother of the groom, whose also a member of the band. So its friends dancing in a friends' wedding. And these guys are winners of Norways got talent in 2009 too I think.

This was at the wedding of Suleman Malik, one of the twins and the initial three in Quick Style and the rest of the crew prepared the performance. Hence, the groom who was pulled near the end of the performance was Suleman. The one with longer beard in the dancing crew, I guess, was his twin.
They aren't paid performers or something, it was their group leaders wedding so they performed for him, the groom whome they brought to the dance at the end is the head of this dance group.
