- My name is Enzo, I am Italian and I’m 8 years old… soon 9! I’m happy so many people are watching this version of The Court of the Crimson King. CZcams blocked my cover of the original tune so I propose this wonderful live version by the great Steve Hackett.
I have many more drumming videos on my channel, mostly prog rock but not only. I usually do not prepare my recording sessions but simply sit down and play while my father takes care of the editing and video stuff. If I make some mistakes please forgive me because I almost never repeat a recording! With that kind of musicians, Prog rock is not dead

This young lad spans an over 50 year old evergreen to an unbelievable talented performance of stunning. He's so calm and focused and I must let run my tears about it. I'm an old fan of King Crimson and I know every take on that piece of music, but Enzo does it better. Blessings.

I am 70 years old. I remember the first time hearing this album with friends when it first came out. My friends and I were amazed. There hadn't been anything like it before. Watching your video, a couple of things come to mind. One, is that your playing is amazing. Spot on. Two, is how did you get interested in this music?
You did not explain it either.
Probably got interested because of influence from parents, friends of parents, and peers who were exposed to a wide enough variety of music they he had a chance to choose something besides *HIS* normal radio station / video channel. My kids were a good example of that, although quite a bit older.

Hi! I just listen to the music my father likes and then I explore similar things on CZcams or Apple Music. After I try to play the songs on the drums. Also I am meeting some great prog musicians in person and learning many things from them.

@@leegaskins5506 I really like music with a bit complicated rhythms. I don’t like commercial stuff. There is much beautiful music out there, but also a lot of junk that lasts few days then it’s forgotten.
Check out Macroscream., They're from Italy. I'm not that fond of their new album, but their album with the huge ear is a masterpiece! Cheers!

Well done Enzo! This is a real classic piece of music, and I love that you chose the Steve Hackett version, from "The Tokyo Tapes". I have most of the King Crimson albums, all of the Genesis (Gabriel/Hackett era), and all of Steve Hackett's solo albums, in my collection. (Actually, it so happens that I met Steve in person, only a week ago - he is such a nice person.)

@@lennartpersson2912 Hi! My Mom took me to Steve Hackett’s concert in Rome last year and I’ll see him again in October! There I met Craig Blundell, his drummer. He gave me the sticks he used that night and let me sit at his drumset! He is a great great person! Thank you for the nice comment, and if you want check my other videos… a lot of Genesis and still more Hackett playing King Crimson. Ciao!
