I always save anything I want to “keep” for later viewing, or to remind me of what I learned. I have lots of different categories to save the videos under, so I don’t have to search for them back again. Must be more than a million CZcamss! I saved this one under my category “embossing folders”. Until I started saving videos, I was desperately looking for faves back again!
This is just a general comment. Love your videos, of course, but I want to tell you how much I enjoy YOURS especially. Wish you lived next door! I'm retired now and have all the time in the world to play in my craft room (aka Family Room 😉😉) and, like others, I get artist block...need ideas. YOU do that for me! Thank you so very much!
Uncharted Mariner is more of a midnight or navy blue. Teal has more green in it. 😊 I’m sorry I don’t feel differently about this embossing folder because pink and blue are the colors that are popular for Christmas in the UK. However, I get what you are trying to do and will try this technique on my stash. Thank you for the tutorial!❤😊
OMG, we are neighbors, I live in The Villages!!!!! What you did with your first card IS stunning!!! And thanks for reminding me about those stamping foams. They don't get the love that they deserve. I will change that.

I'm sorry, but the embossing folder still looks like Christmas to me. And apparently Pink and purple are this year's Christmas colors. Love it though. My birthday is during the Christmas season, Jan 15th, I wouldn't mind a Christmas birthday card.
I do love watching you Wendy, I think ur bubbly personality & enthusiasm really adds to ur video's. I love the 1st card. Although I do still think this embossing folder does just say Christmas. Although love the idea for a Christmastime birthday card. Also lived the idea of using a paint brush for ur versamark (although hubby bought me a double ended versamark pen) Just 1 think I'm unsure of is I'm guessing it's a photo app using for ur photo's. It's making the card look off as in shape. Also ur last card is very off. Not sure if it's the photo app or ur layers r off. But again I did enjoy ur video. Love from Co. Antrim Northern Ireland 💜💚

I assume you are referring to the first ink blended card? I generally don’t have colored card stock…pink I definitely don’t have. Of course there are many ways to get a desired result. In the first case, ink blending gives me a very smooth look and allowed me to blend the uncharted Mariner color to achieve a whole new a gorgeous color. I did do ink on the embossing folder for the blue/pink card. The look is vastly different. Than’ you for watching! 🩷
Putting the ink direct to folder would not have given the same look once embossed. Not everyone has multitudes of different coloured cardstock in their stash. Plus as Wendy z you'd rarely get a gorgeous blend like this from a piece of cardstock in ur stash 💜💚

I'd actually say uncharted mariner is more an airforce blue. But do agree teal has a green tinge to it 💜💚

Why didn’t you use the ink on the folder, then emboss? Also if you wanted it pink why not start with pink paper?
