The owner's son, who also drives these cars, lost a very close friend during a boating trip. He suffered from a head injury and drowned. Since then, he has lost all motivation to continue making videos for this channel. The cars' owner is/was also battling the coronavirus, no update on that.
Not for the first time I'm wondering who's behind the wheel of all these amazing cars. I guess it doesn't matter who it is, the cars are always beautiful and being driven exactly how they should be. These videos are always fun to watch, thanks for uploading.
When I was a wee little boy about 8 or 9 I used to watch these car videos on my dads old laptop and I remember discovering the videos on this channel and watching them nonstop because it was just the coolest thing to me. Since then I’ve never really thought about this channel until I saw it in another yt video and seeing the video jogged my memory. Watching these videos from this channel brought back so much nostalgia and emotion, specifically the jaguar xj220 one which I used to think was so cool. I was extremely heartbroken to hear the story about his son too, tis a shame. My thoughts and prayers to you mr. Tax the rich 100🙏

It's nice to know that there are people out there who use these rare cars for what they were meant to do instead of keeping them cooped up in a plastic bubble or stagnating in a garage.
Rally will always be more interesting than track racing. I love the rawness of it; the dirt, how narrow the roads are, how the cars can take such a beating but still miraculously drive to the finish etc…it’s just brilliant. I love the improvisation that has to be made in the case of mistakes. There are a lot more of those made in rally which to be honest makes the sport far more competitive and unpredictable. For instance there is no such thing as a “fast” rally driver…consistency wins over pure speed. So much more skill is involved and I think the sport is just so painfully underrated…
He doesn't spend much time on the farm anymore. He's pretty busy as a works driver in Endurance racing and Dakar aa well as runnung his Jewelry business.
Aftermath 1. a. call mom and ask if she could tell dad what happened (never underestimate the power of mom) b. return the car and act as nothing happened (good chance dad wont notice anything for years) 2. keep a low profile/hide 3. When confronted blame your friends and epilepsy also remember to blame dad for not spending enough time with you 4. pray all the gods your funding wont be frozen for longer than couple weeks Works like a charm.
