Much I have spent on earphones and headphones over the yrs?? It’s no joke. That’s why I bought a soldering iron with the full kit. I need some other little bits too but I’ll pick them up in some electrical store soon. It’s cheaper in the long run

Every headphone company dispatched their product with a manufacturing fault. In case of headphones, it is more dominant. After 1 to 2 month usage their headphone jack stops working properly coz some wires lose their connection from jack. Same happened to me every time. But then after i decided to repair my headphones. I soldered its jack properly and it is almost a year passed and still they working properly
Was wondering whether their connections were just shoddy and whether a proper soldering job would make them last longer. I'll try this then.
@@maxeisenach1771 Yes, that's whould be better instead of buying new one. Also cover jack, after repairing, with a double layer of heat shrinking sleeve

You are my inspiration thank you for this video! I just had to do this twice to my diesels and hack into the radio with an aux cord and I needed to use smaller wire that I did not have I had fat wire and I had to cut off points and it was so difficult you made it look so damn easy.

@@firashidar510 at first no had to cut the cable going on each side earphones to correct the color. On mine its copper(brownish) with the apple grounds, then Blue(andriod)with green(apple wire)green(and) with red(apple wire) red(and) with green(apple wire)

What I did was get one of those 3.5mm to 3.5mm extenders and cut it in half. Then solder the two cables together. Less frustration messing with the actual jack.

Então vem na ordem: de cima pra baixo pq o cara fez de baixo pra cima então fica: verde,vermelho dourado e azul ou seja lado direito(verde) lado esquerdo( vermelho) terra( dourado) e microphone(azul).
