For the most part, yes.
Honestly, I'm disappointed that they never acknowledged Varian and Cassandra's relationship (I ship them hardcore X3). But I also think that the writers may have left that for the fandom to acknowledge. There's still a rose in Cassandra's wardrobe that hasn't been interpreted, and Cassandra took that necklace with her when she left Corona, which means that it must be important to her in some way.
