    Awesome, been working on getting better at using my Crossfire Pro. Kinda had to step back a bit, being the old dog I am in figuring out the works of it all.
    I'm using fusion 360 and I really don't have it down yet, have made a few items using it, and figured I could see what else there is out there to try since I'm doing sheet metal and all, this sounds and looks interesting,.....you gave positive encouragement. Thanks

    Sorry, can't tell you what exactly we make with our CNC plasma's, there are NDA agreements involved, but I will say we manufacture automotive race parts.
    Thanks for sharing, great ideas!

    What gauge steel are you using on these? What about powder coating? How would that do with the way you painted. Just curious. Thanks for the video

    • @tinmanmetalworks
      @tinmanmetalworks  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I make mine out of 16 Gauge or 14 gauge ... 16 is fine though, Some people request thicker steel. I do powder coat mine as well. I have a 10x10x10 foot powder coat oven that I built myself after saving up some money that I made with my table. Powder coating is GREAT! The video is kind of based on doing it the simplest way possible. For those just starting out. My powder coat oven is so large because I now make flatbeds for pickup truck and need it that large for those. Thank you for commenting. I hope to see you in the future back on the channel.

    Subscribed. I’m trying to make custom shower drain covers. Would you recommend the crossfire for this purpose?

    • @billjacobs386
      @billjacobs386 Před 17 dny +1

      IMHO, ask yourself how many you plan on making? If it's just this one, and It'll set it in the garage collecting what ever then probably not. Make cardboard patterns, and any fab shop can make it. But if you've got grinding dust in your veins by all means, buy one! You become more professional and productive
      Enjoy you'll be glad u did!

    • @tinmanmetalworks
      @tinmanmetalworks  Před 16 dny +1

      Yes the crossfire will do that just fine. Any of them will make you money though

    • @Zachyzarc
      @Zachyzarc Před 16 dny

      @billjacobs386 TBH I'd like to make money at it. I've been a tile setter for 24 years, which is the industry that a designer drain cover would be useful for. The back and knees would be thankful.
