  • If you want to visit Sekumpul and Fiji waterfall in Bali, I highly recommend you to stay for some days in Buda's homestay in Lemukih.
    www.homesweeth...
The homestay is only a 5min drive from the waterfalls.
Get up at 8 AM and enjoy the delicious traditional breakfast they serve.
Then get to the waterfall by 9 and chances are high that you are the only one there.
Plus instead of being tired from a long ride, you can enjoy the experience with fresh energy.
If you get the chance, book the tour with Buda.
I am glad I did, as it made the experience much more enjoyable.
Buda is the happiest and most relaxed guy I met in Bali and will lift your mood, even if you already feel great! :)
    PS:
I was not getting paid for making this video. Staying at Buda's place was one of the best experiences of 5 weeks traveling in Bali, but only a few people know that this hidden gem exists.
So I shot this video to give back and spread the word so that you can enjoy it as well. :)

Hallo Thomas, sehr freundlich von dir. 💜lichen Dank für die Empfehlung und einen schönen Urlaubsort. Bei welchem Anbieter sind denn günstige Flüge möglich? Liebe Grüße Beate

It says they currently don‘t accept bookings. Do you know anything more specific? Can i contact them?

    •  Před 3 lety +1

I don't know how the current situation on Bali is due to Corona. Sure, you can contact them! I spoke with Buda a week ago; they have been improving their homestay over the last months and would love to have guests (if it is allowed by government).

Thomas Bröker thanks. I‘m surprised to report that I could reach his publicized telephone number over whatsapp! He was quick to answer...
Sounds like Indonesia is headed for more repressive covid measures in the coming weeks with numbers rising. Maybe in 1 or 2 months...

A car is strongly advised to visit that area correct?

    •  Před 3 lety

@@banzobeans Great that you reached him! I hope that Indonesia will open again soon.. It's a hard situation, especially for Balinese people..

    •  Před 3 lety +1

@@banzobeans If you want to drive around on your own, a car or scooter would be good. I don't think you can rent one in Lemukih, as it's not a tourist place. If you go in wet season, I would prefer a car because it can rain heavily in the mountains. I don't know how it is in dry season. We have stayed at Buda's place for 8 nights (initially we planned for 3 nights, but it was such a great experience that we stayed much longer..) without a car. Domi, Buda's brother was picking us up from Seseh and brought us to Amed afterwards. He is an amazing guy and drives very safely.
