Hey man! I’ve got a stage 2 tuned c200 CGI W204. V similar layout of the engine. Was wondering about going in for the same air intake/ air filter. Could you help me out on whether I should go for it and the model of what air filter that was? I’d probably install it myself
So was it a straight pipe afterwards? Ro did you replace the front cat only?

opened short ram intake really kills performance, i have my c180k 1.8 2008 kompressor, and loved sound without airfilter box and stock short ram intake + KN filter, but i serriously noticed rob in performance and I just backed my stock airfilter box but lefted KN filter in it. Its musch better now, sound not so amazing with closed box, but in performance its noticeable. Im suggesting you buy KN filter that fits your airbox, KN must offer for that CGI model :)
Is it on the cgi engine or kompressor?

The choices available for the m271 engine are pretty limited. You may settle at ecu, downpipes and air filter. It also depends on the displacement of the engine. If its the 1.8 you can also change the kompressor pulley and pump the power up to 210hp. On the 1.6 version the kompressor is pushed by itself too much and i personally wouldnt want to put more stress on such a small engine. Although an ecu tune will make a vast difference in how the car drives unlike a naturally aspirated engine.

Yo bruv. I have a 2009 petrol C180 Kompressor w204 m271 engine. I want to do a stage 2 tuning on it. How much hp and torque do you think that will add?
Is your car already tuned to stage l? Other than the ECU, what else have you experimented with so far? Is it all computerized or do you have any mechanical upgrades done on the engine? Intake, exhaust, fuel management, supercharger, electrical system on the engine and or the ECU, engine internals, suspension and brakes... anything at all

Hey bady. I live in Turkey and I bought a 2009 c180 kompressor amg pack. How can I increase the performance of this vehicle? Because chiptuning markets are saying we can’t make a chip this car.

I got a 2010 c180 cgi and it lags whenever I try to gas it do you know what the problem is?
That's either turbo lag or if you in am automatic it takes a short while to drop a gear first. You can try brake boosting to counter the problem you having👍

Take a KN filter with the original dimensions, it need to fit in the box perfectly. If you take out the cover of the box, the filter will catch the hot air from the engine and you will have bad results

So you just changed the closed air filter and replaced it with the open K&N and thats it? With stock filter did it sounded any like that or just a normal? I am aksing because i am about to buy a CLC and dying to make it sound like that ❤
