That mustache is a mistake...
Oops!
Nothing but love brother. Nothing but love.
@@michaelmontalto Haha, I know!
It's the Classic Canuck look, getting more popular up here in Canaduh... heck with a stache like that, he'd be the talk of the town!
A true stache is the sign of a great man
Ty for the vid Detective Nick. Keep em coming!
Will do!
Thanks Nick for the tips! Great fishing with Bro!
Thanks !
Great tips and nice to have a video from you.
Much appreciated - hope the tips help!
Good tips on what to avoid. Didnât think about the leader. May have to re-rig some longer now!!
Thanks Craig! Hope it helps đ
Thanks Nick, perfect timing. Going for them in the morning. First time on inland lake. Lol
Best of luck!
I've been on fish all spring and into June. They've been in the weeds 6'-10.' Now I've lost them. Where should I go look? Keep up the great content!
Good detail..thanks.
đ
Spot on tips! Well done. holds true all over upper Midwest in stocked lakes with weed vegetation. I love slip bobbers but One downfall is your competing with junk fish-cats, white bass etc.
Definitely true
Good tips, poppin Jiggn raps is one of my favorite bites when they are aggressive
It's definitely a tactic that's effective this time of year!
Hi Nick, for longer flouro leaders how do you tie to main line and then get that knot thru the rods eyes especially when casting?
Hey! For me, the uni to uni has always been effective and trustworthy
@NickLindner thank you Sir!
Where I come from in central Alberta Canada our Prarie lakes are loaded with pressured walleyes. We almost always use bobbers with minnows
Tough to beat bobbers
Welp in guilty of 5/5. This might be the most helpful video ive seen yet.
Glad I could help!
And I thought people made fun of how I said "Boat" as a Canadian, meanwhile I'm like "Whaddya talking aboat?"
Big thanks to all your tips Nick! Have certainly gotten me onto and into the walleye fishing from being a strictly Bassman my whole life so far. Smashed the walleyes trolling a few days ago on Lake Erie, outta Port Burwell. Spoons and harnesses, over 30 fish into the boat, plus at least a dozen rainbow trouts.
Right on! Thanks for watching dex
Nick , great video!! what is your favorite tactic for night fishing in middle of hot summer ?
Tough to beat trolling at night
Thanks for the tips, have to bring some pizza for nite fishing!
Yes!! It's a tradition
Great video!
Thanks!
Love your vids. That's an amazing hat and mustache. Which hat is that?
It's from Striker Brands
Still loving the boat. Iâm looking at one
I really like it!
Have you guys switched over to catch record release for league?
Not yet!
5/5 !
Thanks Tuli đȘ
My local lake has walleye & pike. It also has a constant water clarity of 1ft-to-chocolate milk. I am a bank fisherman. Any tips?
Use baits that are loud, have plenty of vibration or have plenty of scent. Look for clearest water when possible.
How are you liking your boat? Any quality issues after owning it for awhile now? Iâm looking at the 1875 impact or 2025 impact and would like some people to tell me how they are after a year or so. I also think I will get all vinyl flooringâŠthoughts? Would you purchase the boat again or go with a different one?
I've really liked it, Austin. Everything has held up well. I've spent a ton of time in both the 1875 and the 2025. Like both. Will probably get the 1875 again, but I'm still also considering the 2025 or possibly a Pro-V.
Thank you. That helps to know youâd buy another one. My family and I go up to Leech once or twice every year. We stay just outside of Walker. Mostly have always fished for northern and now we jig fish reeds for perch and rock bass, Ned rigs mostly, we feel like itâs âspring crappie fishingâ but not just in the spring! We are âbass fishermenâ from Missouri so itâs been very cool to find your channel and learn the walleye game! If you ever want to fish with a stranger, Iâd love to learn from you!
I know you say to use 8lb fluorocarbon. I've noticed that when I fish pike heavy lakes 10lb survives longer than 8lb between retying hooks on my snells
For sure! 10lb might make more sense on your lake. There's plenty of variables to consider
Is night fishing as effective on a stained lake such as Rainy?
Generally not
Iv done real good on beep lake too
Shhhh don't say the name!
Whatâs your favorite presentation when night fishing this time of year?
Gotta be trolling cracks
Nice

Nick Linder will never live up to his dad.
Imagine actually saying this to someone đ
Rule #1 - if Al does it, you do it.
As you were.
Haha yes!
Why did you bleep out the name of the lakes for night fishing. You blew the whole video for me with that tactic. I find a lot of fishermen not giving out lakes or spots because they worry someone is going to come and catch all their fish. Hog wash. A fisherman still has to catch or try to catch the fish. It does not just come easy. You were good up to that point.
You got one of the three, Gary! Most folks (including my friends) would prefer if I didn't share smaller lakes with thousands of people. Not trying to be a jerk or off-putting, just being honest on the reasoning.
You still have to catch the fish, thatâs true. Take a look at the numbers for viewers though. If even a small percentage show up itâs a zoo. A couple of my favorite lakes have been mentioned more than once in different papers and shows. Show up at small landing and thereâs 100 rigs and a half mile walk after you park.
Common mistakes to avoid while making fishing vids.
#1. Adding distracting music while your talking. Good info here, but certianly don't need the tunes,. Why make it harder to hear you? Your uncle's sound editors could use the same advice on some of their productions lately.
Thanks for the two cents!
hi, im the nobody that always use minnows bobber fishing, lol
LOL. Hey, the jig and minnow can get it done!
