Parkway Drive kicks ass live. I saw them on the Monsters of Oz tour as a pre show to New England Metal and Hardcore festival
I saw them in Minnesota. Their live show was incredible and the crowd was absolutely insane! During the breakdown for dedicated people were swinging. I got hit in the head three times during that breakdown
@@esavage8855 I had to leave the pit after I was nearly dropped, by the end of the show I had to crowd surf to get back to my friend over in VIP
@@robertmcnally9305 I’m guessing you must gotten hit by one of those stupid hardcore dancers. I went and saw Carnifex a few years ago and a whole bunch of people started swinging and I nearly got hit and got a deviated septum and nearly got knocked out
For me this band has best breakdowns, new or old music they are awsome and they do what they love
They said in an interview that the other songs in the album will be way heavier😄

To think i use to go watch these guys at yourh centres as a teenager kicking heads breaking my own legs etc with about hundred people look at the crowd and fan base now is insane how far they have come so proud of the boys

I disagree with the sentiment that this is a “sick breakdown”. They still have good rhythmic progression in their breakdowns... but they lack the intricate lead part that they used to have. It feels like their last tolerable album to me was Atlas... which I did enjoy but their first three were practical gold imo. This is a shell of what I’ve formerly heard.

I don’t get why people hate this album so much, open your mind to change for once. It may not be a super heavy album but if you listen to the lyrics in their songs like ground zero, the greatest fear, darker still, they have meaning behind them. This album shows that they can be more creative with what they produce the way they wrote these songs wouldn’t be the same if they we’re constantly screaming at the top of their lungs. And for the guy that said parkway drive is basically done at this point how explain how they are done, this album isn’t shitty, if anything it will open up more people to parkway drive, the only people that keep saying this album sucks are the people that like listening to hard ass metal and are stuck in their older albums, then again I like all types of music but I guess I’m just more open to bands trying something new and changing
