There must be so many takes for all of the lines, from all 5 girls. This isn't even the same "chain reaction running through my veins" from Sarah that is featured on the Brian Higgins mix. I would love to hear full solo verses & bridge for all of the girls one day, they could easily release an entire EP of alternate versions💗
Didn't someone say they had each girl sing the song solo then cobbled together the best parts from each? Imagine being able to listen to an all-Sarah album.

Thanks for uploading! I thought the alternative version might have Aimee and Javine's vocals on as they also recorded it but it sounds like some of the girls have sang others parts like Sarah doing Kimberley's and Kimberley some of Nadine's etc. Would be great to see a breakdown of line by line of who is singing what on this version!
I also wonder if anyone still has the original demo sung by Orchid (the first girl group Xenomania tried to produce)?
The song was recorded a few weeks into the live shows with each girl singing. Week by week as they got voted off Brian Higgins removed their vocals until we got the final 5. During the last week, he has several versions of the song ready for whoever of the final 6 made the final 5, so like a version without Cheryl, version without Nicola, etc. However everyone was so convinced Javine would be in the band, she featured on every version. Literally the day after the band was announced Cheryl was rushed into the studio to re-record some of javine lines.
@@leebrown723 not only that Kimberley wasn’t even on the “final version” before when there was still 6 of them and when Javine was gone, they had to change that so she had some lines etc. unless I remembered incorrectly

@@aussieapril First line of first verse, last line of second verse. Also does the "and then it drops" in the pre-chorus and in the chorus she sings "beat of the drum goes round and round" solo also.
@@jambon6451 oh yeah I hear her in the first line of the first verse now. I swear that's Sarah in the last line of the second verse though and it's definitely Sarah/Kimberley singing Nicola's original "and then it drops..." in this version though. We need a line distribution 😂😂
@@aussieapril it’s sometimes really difficult to tell Sarah from Nicola. The pronunciation is just slightly different between the two. Nicola is all over the chorus in Sound of the Underground despite having few solo lines.
