I bought a few raw $5 gold Liberty coins (XF grade) recently from SD Bullion online...can these be easily verified as original at my local LCS using a Sigma machine?
@@CoinsRoc Thanks! I absolutely adore pre-33 gold, but i need to be able to touch it! No slabbed coins for me, i'm more of a stacker than a collector...and the premiums are pretty low right now.
I would be quite certain that if it came from SD Bullion that it's genuine. That being said, I only buy from trusted dealers in person so I know they are genuine and so I can examine the coins up close. And yes, it is so satisfying to touch and hold that old gold in your hands!

Maybe try a local coin dealer or coin show.

@@tubesoupio Just be sure it's not counterfeit. You can always check with a Sigma.
