Nice job mate, I have the same boat! Zodiac pro 420 with a 50hp Suzuki 4 stroke.
In a few months im planning on doing this myself because the black sliding part in the tube where it attaches to the hull had come loose and now Some water is getting in the boat. Other than that the tubes are in great shape so planning on repairing them.
I was just on your website, and noticed your a Canadian company.
So I am wondering if you make the re tube kits here.
Roughly how long does it usually take to make up a set?
Do they come complete with the oar sockets and everything?
Would I have any colour choices when ordering?
Just wondering how bad the tubes would need to be before repair was not an option?
Good question... well I should be doing a video soon on that exact topic. But a good sign that your tubes are finished is when the skin is badly damaged that you can see the inner threads of the fabric throughout the tops of the tubes.
Does it pay to remove the tubes during the winter/un-used period? Remove and store in a dry environment.
How much did that cost?
Labour time is 6-8 hours to remove, clean channels and tube rails and to reinstall.
Terrible music! Qs pls, if tube is punctured does the mid console sinks?
If it's a RIB boat, no it will still float even though the tubes are punctured. There's a video on CZcams of a gentleman who demonstrates that exact question. If I can find it, I'll post the link here for you.
