He said it well. I'm German, too and I've loved Native Americans, since I was very young. I'm old now, but I still love my native friends. They were just special and they still are. It's not their fault! The Americans took away the live of indigenous peoples and enslaved them. They killed their manhood!

It saddens me to see all those young people who learn about hard living conditions and suffering at their young age. Their hearts should be innocent and unburdened by all that cruel things. They should know that we are proud of them, because they are our hope for the future to help our Mother Earth survive when we are long gone. Thank you for this informative video.

I wish I had an Apache friend, but we are all so divided now that I think it's a very slim chance it will every happen. I greatly admire the Apache. I want to learn everything I can about Apache. I can never be Apache but still can be a brother. From the small bit of insight I've had about Apache I know that they are true survivors and no other can match their fighting spirit. There's no doubt.

I've never lived on a res.
But the trials in the big world are, in my opinion Bigger.
    On the Res, you're home.
Unfortunately Out PEOPLE have been hurt and almost destroyed.

Western Civilization is something I'm ashamed of and my heart is heavy with sorrow regarding these wonderfully proud People. A simple message to all those young American Indigenous People that will follow; Always try to be the best You, you can be, seize the day and be spectacular.

Drugs and alcohol are a hell of a thing, both of my parents struggle(d) with drugs and alcohol. My mother had the nickname "Easy Annie" because she would open her legs to anyone after she got enough booze down her throat. My dad still drinks and does drugs and the last time I seen him, in 2016, he looked like a seventy year old man instead of fifty-one.
I also have grandparents who struggled with substance abuse. Due to these generational issues, I have such a fear of becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol that I rarely drink and I do not do drugs. I may have one drink every four years or more.
I feel for these kids because I have lived it with my own family. I remember one year when my mom was so drunk, I could smell the booze off of her and she could barely walk. Plus she was trying to grab me and make me touch her. I had to carry her to her room and lay her down. My younger sister was crying and very upset because Mom was so drunk.

I really dislike hearing them say they plan to join the white man's military. People have to fight their own fight, continue their own traditions & be very proud of their heritage. An elder would tell you not to fight for the white man's flag but for your own. I see no point in fighting for a government that took this land from it's rightful owners. Zero respect for that

Or they might just be proud of the government. The past is in the past. Of course we should have more benefits, and of course we should be treated better, but it doesn't mean that they completely hate all white men. Who knows what the Native Americans would be like without the white men. Everybody who lives in America should be grateful that they do. Native American or not, there is always somebody who is in a worse position than you. And do you know what makes America so free? The Military.

I bet your ass don't mind accepting that white mans check every month, do you? I grew up in the South with the Cherokee who see culture I fell in love with. I love the Cherokee people so much because they were so willing to teach me their history and were excited that I was so willing. Tattooed my body with their history and trials. I got transferred to the White Mountains and was beyond ecstatic to be with the Navajo and Apache to learn their history and native tongue. Never have I been treated like such shit by any people in my life. Not by one or two but by all I seeked information from. Unbelievable that any culture would not want to sit down and teach an outsider their culture to inform others how amazing your history is. Saddening to watch such potentionally strong people sit on their asses and just accept bare minimal welfare payments from the "white man" whom they despise. Never in my life would I have ever thought to have been treated badly from the Natives. It sickens me. Discourage your people from leaving the shitty living reservation conditions by not joing the White mans military to receive 100% paid college education so they can stay on the rez and collect that welfare check forever and watch your own youth destroy your heritage through alcoholism, drug use, and gang violence. You are the disease of your own people.
