할머니집 식탁도 그렇고 식기들이랑 그릇들이 모두 정감있네요. 옛날 저희 외할머니도 그런 자개무늬 검은식탁이랑 코닝 그릇들 많이 쓰셨는데... 앞치마도 모두 전통 한복식 문양이 들어있어서 너무 마음에 들고요. 항상 어머니쪽 한국 가족들이랑 유대감을 쌓으려는 모습을 보여줘서 감사해요.

And seeing this brought so much joy to my heart but also made me miss the idea of the ladies of the family coming together, cooking and sharing this profoundly big moments, which may seem small generally but these are the big moments of life. Sharing a meal in the most loving respectful manner.. You are so blessed. And I can tell how aware you are just by the way you look at your grandmother and mother and your interaction with them. my grandmother has been bed ridden for quite some time and has completely given up on trying to become mobile. So it warms my heart seeing your grandmother put in so much love and tenderness to her cooking. cooking is really a labor of love 🥟❤️

I enjoy watching you all prepare the food, I learned to cook from my grandmother . I miss my mom and grandma they live in pretty far away. Time spent with them is precious.
My favorite dish: all of them! That kimchi paste your halmoni made was master class. I can tell the kimchi came out so good even without tasting it. The birthday part had me smiling the entire time, happy birthday halmoni and Emiily!
