Oh gosh! they re-released this thing? I had one as a kid back inthe 80's. Wow...such nostalgia! I loved this thing! I remember when i ran out of flavor syrup I used imitation vanilla and heavy cream or frozen juice concentrate.

that thing originally came out before 07 i was between 10 and 13 when i put that thing together. never needed instructions. Then again i did get one bionicle from each of the first 3 generations of the product. The one that turns into a ball and rolls around was still fairly new it was still being advertised.

My 7 yr old son is a huge fan of your channel. And he ran in and was so excited about this Snoopy Snow Cone machine and I about passed out cause I have not seen one since the 80's!!! I proceeded to tell him that mommy had one when I was about his age in 1987 and he says " oh mom, that's silly your way too old"!!! Lol. Mind you I'm 32!!! But this video took me way back. I had one of these as a child back in late '70 early '80 s. they are still made same way. I remember having fun trying it but it took 2 kids to make it because children aren't strong enough to hold it and turn handle at same time.

Yep. I would say they are both good because with both you can use any drink you want. This one is quicker and easier with the cubes and the grinder.

Yep, not sure why they would do that. It would have been rather expensive to re-tool and basically re-design the main unit smaller.

My family has had 2 of these!!! We had one near the end of the 90's beginning of the 2000's, lost a piece, and now we have the 2012 one. unfortunately, my dad broke it before I came home from the military academy I attended...left the juice in it too...
