As much as I hate to do it, I've had to start a policy of closing the vid (or not clicking if it's clear from the thumbnail) any time I see it's Roblox. If he keeps getting tons of views on that trash, he is going to keep making it, and everyone suffers in the end, IMO.

I noticed that DF actually seems to pay attention to what the game is telling him when the game is more engaging. Like, in an idle game he'd have completely ignored the Stowaway prompt, but here he actually read it and learned they only take effect when you have a shell.
Seing DF play games like these and no soul sucking clicker games makes me happy
DF is brilliant at how he makes a game look fun to play. He plays poorly enough at points to be frustrating so you want to try and do it yourself instead. Watching him on other games you know he is skilled so he is good enough at feigning it to be a brilliant advertiser.
This is the closest thing we’re getting for DF VS Dark souls 😂
Who knows, maybe if he likes it enough he'll try one!

@@DabshotDabbery that is...a fair assessment. Though I have definitely seen plenty of people successfully upload Dark Souls content seemingly while maintaining their pre-existing communities. It's really only a very small portion of the community that's responsible for the toxicity, as is the case with most communities.
@@Trevor21230 i am speaking just of my own experience, streaming DS 1,DS3 and especially Elden Ring. Never had so many Backseat gaming in my Chat or people getting mad at me for using Magic or Ashes.
The amount of toxic people is small in the community, but i never experienced another Community, where the Toxic people where this annoying.

Honestly everything about this game was amazing to me. I'd rather have these kinda games rather than well polished (polluted) AAA titles
ill tell you what, im not a souls like/lite player, but this is a game i play. its really nice to learn how to play
and if it gets too hard then you can just use the gun. everyone wins
@@ansem3463 i have some of those on. im trying to really only use the gun on smaller enemys. if i use it during a boss battle, its for shell health only

For another semi-Soulslike with an imaginative and colorful world, plus a whole heaping of characters that look like they could fit into The Dark Crystal, weird martial arts, an Oro/Clint Eastwood/Hellboy mix as the main character who looks like a gnarly orange mandrake root with a sore, wrinkly, hairy grumpy thumb for a face and traffic gridding bodypaint plus fantastic atmosphere and music, I can very strongly recommend Clash: Artifacts of Chaos.
Combat's kind of like a 3D beat-em-up/fighter where you can find different fighting styles and special attacks.
And there *is* a stance called Crab Stance. Has the main character putting one arm behind their back.
Genuinely awesome story worth showing as well.
You can press Middle Mouse button to lock on to enemies!
I can't even watch it cause I have to go to school, but afterwards... I'M SO EXCITED!

I genuinely love this game. I've been playing so much of it. My general take is if I want to play a game like dark souls I will play dark souls but this one does it so damn good and if you aren't rooting for this little fella from the get go you are hopelessly broken as a human being. Give that crab his shell back you monsters.

Hey Df I played the game and I put literal 95% of my points into res, my shell barely takes any damage to the point where even the shot glass can tank a couple hits. Ngl I feel stupid strong with my block just absorbing everything even most bosses attacks, still has a skill level to it for some so not all broken, if anything mix the points into meg if you read this

Honestly they have a nice formula here for this game, though you can become OP with the right build at times. I took down a boss with 3500 HP in just a few seconds once I activated a special ability and used the HAMMER!!

If the dev video I saw is true, there should be a "depression" mode where the colors lose their vibrancy, and the guy you play gets a depressed look.
Sadly it’s not real it was a joke video by the devs and it’s just a thing that happens at the end of the game

Big tip, don’t use M&K on souls like games. Also blocking at the moment of impact is a parry in this game
M&K can Works on Souls like game, Ive beaten DS3, DS1 and Elden Ring with it, Its simply an harder mode.
