      Paul Sebastian no, he’s not. He’s on the Personality Disorder spectrum. He’s not disabled, but he is mentally different . He cannot connect with ordinary people, he cannot experience empathy. He is emotionally cold, he is also dangerous. Born into a different socioeconomic world and he’d either be in prison or Broadmoor. Same goes for his blonde haired lover.

    • @nlwilson4892
      @nlwilson4892 Před 4 lety +11

      @Paul Sebastian No-one is bullying him because he is a bit odd. He is being held to account because he broke the rules, several times and was behind a huge campaign of lies during the referendum campaign. As for the claim that is is on the autistic spectrum, all the signs are the opposite. As people on the Autistic spectrum can't see things from another person's point of view they tend not to lie to manipulate people as they can't understand how to manipulate people. On top of all his campaign lies, on the day he arrived back in London, he edited an old blog to make it seem as if he warned about a coronavirus pandemic a year ago and then brought up that claim on Sunday. That foresight, to plant a lie and make a statement about it over a month later is something that someone on the autistic spectrum just wouldn't be able to do. However, his complete lack of empathy and consideration for anyone but himself would be characteristic of a sociopath.

      Has everyone here gone looney? Given the government guidelines under exceptional circumstances are to use your own judgement, which he did. Given he suspected he and his wife were going to be incapacitated when Corona got them, travelling to somewhere where you and the children could be taken care of seems perfectly reasonable. The guy didn't even put stress on government system such as the NHS or child care, nor did he pay for private care either. What even is the problem with driving that far? Best thing about a car is you're automatically social distancing people outside the car, and let's be fair, the children are gonna get sick anyway, but at least like this, they can be looked after. The way everyone is going on about it you would have thought he went and personally coughed on every single person he passed on the way there. This is all just stupid, irrational hatred. How about you all call out the reporters dogpiling him outside his house in such a densely packed crowd they were blocking his way. That's far more irresponsible, one of them could've infected every single one of them, spreading it to more people on the way back to their studios, especially since a good portion of them likely don't drive, being clueless that, yes, cars can get more than 500 miles to the tank.
      I wholly support him refusing to be shamed, travelling from the bubble of his home, to the bubble of his parents estate, via the bubble of a car to make sure his children were taken care of sounds wholly reasonable and responsible. Rubbing shoulders with people from other households to harass him outside his home with loudspeakers, on the other hand, does not.

      Just because he and his blind supporters keep repeating that he didn't break the law does not make him innocent. A declaration of innocence is usually associated with a judicial or quasi judicial process where arguments are made and evidence is given by both parties (not political parties) As yet, nothing like this has taken place and we have only heard the the PM's bumblingly obscure responses and assurances and some sort of advice from the Attorney General, who is naturally a politician, (just like Dominic Grieve, you may remember him) A bit of healthy scepticism would not therefore be amiss on both sides and the matter could easily, and hopefully, quickly have been resolved by an open, public inquiry. Cumming's cronies absurd responses and his apologists' bleatings having done little to restore public confidence in the government's handling of this virus (we are competing with the USA in terms of incompetence), it would therefore seem appropriate to regain some confidence by demonstrating openness and fairness as to expect us to adhere to government guidelines from hereon is naive and dangerous. But the PM decided against this option, can you see why? Ah yes, that would have given us openness an fairness and also, possibly, Cummings resignation as he is "an honourable man".
      The second option would have been for Cummings to have been charged and pay the fine like those who were caught doing what he did. His luck was that he was not caught and when the indiscretion came to light it appears that the Durham Police remain consistent with their policy for dealing with the guidelines. Lucky Cummings! He wouldn't have had the same treatment in Wales. Of course had he done the same in Wales he could have gone to court to plead his case, or more appropriately pleaded guilty but with mitigating circumstances and Boris AND most of the country may have sympathised with him.
      However, you apologists just don't get the following and frankly I cannot understand why:
      Whether he broke the law or not will, it seems be a matter of opinion, thanks to a loophole and the PM's reluctance to seek the truth, however, one question we should all be asking is: should Cummings have potentially put other people at risk in order to protect his own son when he had the means and ability to avoid the former and achieve the latter? This, by his own account, he patently failed to do.
      The final question: Given Cummings' role in government, should anyone trust a person who puts other people's life at risk in order to (poorly) protect a member of his family?
      Such selfish, reckless and antisocial characteristics should lend itself to other activities than government.

      The guy was allowed to travel for childcare. If he'd gone one mile rather than 200, then you wouldn't even have noticed, and the rules say nothing about the distance involved, only that travel is ok for childcare purposes.
      Even if they didn't say that, the reason you stayed indoors when you were sick was to prevent the spread of the virus. Cummings didn't interact with anybody between leaving Downing Street and driving back from Durham more than 2 weeks later (The exception perhaps being the ambulance crew who took his kid to hospital) so he absolutely fulfilled the reason for the rules, which is to stop the spread of the disease.
      You might argue that other people aren't travelling long distances - but Cummings did so in order to get close to the people who'd be prepared to provide childcare support, not for a jolly. Cummings didn't go to his uncle's funeral or meet up with his mates.
      Cummings did nothing wrong.
      Ian Blackford, the SNP MP, yesterday travelled 600 miles from London to his constituency, so if it's travel that's wrong, why hasn't he been sacked? Stephen Kinnock, the Labour MP, went on a 200 mile round trip to visit his parents. The Guardian defended his actions, and Keir Stamer has promoted him.
      Yet Dominic Cummings isn't even an MP, and his actions (unlike perhaps those 2 MP's mentioned above) were actually within the rules.
      The attacks on Cummings are shameful.

    • @CBfrmcardiff
      @CBfrmcardiff Před 4 lety +1

      @@biscuitcase83 Right, there are basically 2 allegations thrown at Cummings. 1 - that when infected he left his home. 2 - that he travelled a long distance when everyone else wasn't able to. Agreed?
      We've dealt with '1'. He had no contact with anybody. That btw is a reason why it would be better for him rather than someone else to pick up his kid from hospital (why on earth do you resent that?)
      As for 2. People are saying "I haven't had the chance to see MY relatives" etc. Yet Cummings didn't travel for pleasure. He had another reason. Besides which other people *have* travelled long distances and were actual elected politicians, from whom higher standards are expected, and they haven't been asked to resign.
      I didn't disguise anything about the Kinnock case. He actually wasn't ill and has, if anything, less excuse than Cummings. I don't particularly mind what Kinnock did either (he still social distanced from his parents) but if you're complaining about Cummings travelling and not Kinnock then you're a hypocrite.
      You say Cummings' story has holes in it. I say, not really, you just don't believe him. Well, that's fine but we mustn't see people sacked just because you have a guy feeling. You need proof of wrongdoing.
      You are telling me that I am telling you that you don't care enough for your child... what is this? I'm not getting you any such thing. I just know that my own brothers family had needed a lot of support in the past (not thank God because of illness) and that as a result he, the kids, myself and various family members would travel quite a lot to make sure everything was fine. In principle we'd do the same now (we don't have to, but we would). I recognise the Cummings family situation (though without the farm and the 4x4).
      You have said that I'm telling you that all this time you could have done "what the fuck I wanted". No, I'm not saying that. When ill, isolate (Cummings did this). When not ill, still don't interact outside your household (DC did that too). As for the travel - not to be done for fun, but exceptions apply.
      For instance, if you were divorced and you shared responsibility for the kid, it would be alright to move the kid between households. Those are the rules, btw.
