- In this video you will experience a Christmas market walking tour in Aachen city in Germany. This tour was filmed in December 2022 and covers the beautiful Christmas Market, originally called Aachener Printenmarkt, in the center which is taking place at around Aachen Cathedral and the City Hall. It is one of the oldest ones in Germany and also very popular amongst the tourists from surrounding towns and the Netherlands. There are around two hundred different stalls which offer festive decorations, delicious foods, sweets and snacks, candles, jewellery, and other Christmas related goods. Our walk starts from the city hall and then we proceed to the cathedral. Enjoy spectacular, lavishly decorated Christmas markets in the city with many unique goods & tasty German foods. Aachen‘s Christmas market is with 1.5 million visitors annually a very popular destination for many people in Germany. Fully shot in 4K HDR with binaural audio, hope you will enjoy! All year around Aachen is a great place to visit. Very old, everything in walking distance, very international (border to Belgium and Netherlands). You'll like it. :-)
