It took the NSW side a long time to work that out about Greg Dowling too. They used to give it to GD, but all that did was make him more and more angry and the angrier he got, the better he played. When they finally learned to leave him alone, they started to win a few.
I hated him for so many years as a nswales man.. but after all I finally came to realise he was just passionate about his team, state, country and for the love of the game. .. I respect that..
