For the first girl feeling hopeless and suicidal: first of all I am so sorry that you have been through this and still facing family problems. Something that you have been through is called childhood related traumas, these conflicts are spoiling your present life and the abusive relationship you have seen between your parents is toxic for you, you might consider abuse as something regular and you might attract abusive people in life due to your experience so sort these issues out. Feelings of worthlessness & hopelessness and suicidal thoughts are indicators of major depressive disorder. Try to find a therapist near you and start taking proper sessions as soon as possible. Your heart will heal and you will feel better just remember suicide is never an option. Meanwhile start journaling, write or record your thoughts and feelings it will help you to vent out a little bit and you will get a clarity of your thoughts. Stay strong girl ✌️
Freelancer :
1. Do free works in return of portfolio cases . Usually fb and other local groups are easy to get gigs instead of global platforms (unless u have portfolio already).
2. Then start focusing on small amount gigs (as they prefer fast work rather than high quality) and increase rating and experience.
3. Then increase amount gradually....as u have experience, portfolio, and ratings.
For portfolio : it's not number of cases but quality and "variations" of cases that matter most..
Also, it's OK to turn down some gigs as ratings and time r important. All gigs r not suitable with every personality.

Very sad to hear about the girl’s e-mail who was harassed especially because of her religion. I am a Hindu but hating any human because of their religion is one of the inhumane thing ever. @@hotcompilations9 start from facebook groups. Might be hard to land jobs bcoz of high competition. But you need to consistently applying for jobs
When you get enough experience there, move to fiverr. Its more beginner friendly. Also there are other platforms less famous than fiverr i.e. guru.com, freelancers.com, people per hour etc.
Then upwork is the ultimate professional and the most competitve platform for freelancers.
Indians have started traveling now. You can see numerous Indian youtuber too.

Whatsapp selling is very common in India. Even women from small towns are actively doing it. Homekitchen owners also do it. Every apartment complex has a whatsapp group. If you want to sell food, just add your menu to whatsapp group by requesting the admin. And,Bam your cloud kitchen is known by people of 100's of families.

Audio Level Suggestion: Your audio level on the podcasts needs to be increased. its quiet low compared to on youtube. ive checked it from different platforms (apple podcasts, google podcasts, spotify...) . i even checked different devices. i think the anty clipping filter reduces the gain from the mic. better use an actual filter (jali wala) infront of the microphone or use a deadcat over the mic, so the popping due to mic levels peaking would be reduced and you dont have to use an audio filter in post. thanks for taking this as an opinion/suggestion. love your podcasts, it has made my daily commute from RAK to DXB very enjoyable.

Start mai kaam nai mil rha tou free mai kaam karen thora buht, aur usse portfolio build hojayga. Voluntarily projects uthalen ya phir apni hi taraf se koi project assume kr k uspe kaam krlen just for portfolio. Then you can say k mene previously ye ye kaam kia hai aur mera ye experience hai. Free k kaam ko tou kpi bhi mana nai krta mgr phir aap apni marzi k pese charge krskty hain.

I am a Freelance UI/UX designer. I am a Pakistani living in Surabaya, Indonesia and having a best life, Alhamdulilah. (fyp: Bali is a province located in Indonesia). Anyways, I started freelancing in 2019 without any experience. What I did was, I took some bootcamps and courses and they use to give us some projects which helped us to make a portfolio.
I have seen some freelancers who make fake portfolios according to their experience with-in their field of work so they can get their first client.

Yes, Junaid bhai you are totally right I am living here since 34 years. Russian used to live here, from mid-eighties to 2005 educated families were here. They had a dedicated block t in which they had a mini consulate where there were houses, clubs, snooker, table tennis, etc, dedicated for them but if we accompanied by Russians we were also allowed to visit. They used to do schooling with us specially in the Beaconhouse school system Steel Town branch. After 2010 specially the tenure of the people's party Union the Russians who came here were illiterate and very low standard they used to roam around and drink, due to the influence of alcohol they used to vomit and faint due to which lots of them started to get robed. Very good memories with them specially a Ukrainian friend of mine namely Gleb Rudneskiw who is in fact interpreter in India. People's party union, corruption, bad decisions led to the downfall of the steel mill so they went back. Russian beach etc very nice and censored memories :).
