    Ready to get the most out of your bike? We offer motorcycle dyno tuning in the Tampa Bay area. Give us a call today! (727) 256-0001.
    Back with a new video as we bring in this 2022 Suzuki GSXR750. We've tuned this motorcycle before, but he still had the catalytic converter in the bike when we did it. This time, he's back for some more goodies and a new tune. We're going to install a FULL M4 Exhaust system, 525 Chain conversion. We typically recommend a 520 chain conversion, but since this customer got his own parts, this is what he got. The 525 Kit is good, but as with all parts and modifications, it depends on the rider and how they intend to use the bike. In this video you'll get a great sound clip of the M4 full exhaust and see how much power a full m4 exhaust can give your bike. And as always, we'll stack the graphs to show you exactly what kind of power you can expect by doing a similar modification to your bike.

    I'm friends with the owner of this bike and you guys did a great job. Nice work!!! Team SlowBoyz will be proud to represent your shop for sure! I got a 2014 GSXR600 with a Yoshimura TRC-D full system (I bought it as is) and would love to have you guys tune it for me, or retune it if it was already done by the previous owner.

    Well done again guys. Aussie fella here I had my 08 suzuki 750 with stock headers and a mid pipe and an ebay sc project slip on. It had secondaries deleted and a power commander 5 tuned. K&N filter. A local workshop here in qld did a tune check and it went 140.9hp at wheel and 68nm. It was a little weapon. The newer 750s can't seem to push as much hp but there alot smoother.

      Queenslanders lie! Classic bullshit spinners! HaHa! Chances are that your mates dyno reads higher that reality to assist in business and assist egos. This guys dydno seems to be set to more realistic figures. @_@

    FOR THOSE WONDERING WHY 520 size chain. Because it’s lighter. The 525 will still be stronger and you can slightly counter that with an aluminum sprocket (won’t last as long)
    As for oil haha I change my oil every 1500 miles.

  • @ufcker915
    @ufcker915 Před měsícem +1

    My 03 gsxr 750 has an M4 stainless with carbon fiber endcap(bolts right up to the stock headers)525 chain because that's what the damn bike came with..I don't see the logic in going with a '520'..If it ain't broke don't fuck with it people..😎😢

    Oil is cheaper than engines imo. If it's brown it's down. $30 oil change at the crib beats a $3000 engine.

    Awesome video, I know the owner has to be stoked, those M4 systems are something special, very nice gains. Eric I have to ask for anyone that may not know, but you said you recommend the 520 chain over the 525, why is that? Is it weight, durability, performance a combination of all 3? And what’s the difference? Again asking for clarification for those that may not know. Keep up the awesome work.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  Před 7 měsíci +2

      The main differences are primarily weight and less friction on the o-ring design. When you combine those two factors the engine doesn't have to work as hard resulting in power increase without sacrificing too much tensile strength (provided you buy a high quality chain) 💪
      And thank you for the good words 🙏

    Once the headers were on the bike did you have any issues with the header 1 pushing out header 2 making it push out from the mid pipe ?

      Maybe but they stretch pretty quickly as they break in. Even new chsinsaw chains stretch as they break in, and even more if they get hot.

    I've heard different things about tuning these 750's regarding the STV. Some people say just leave it open all the time others say they fine tune the STV to help with the low down power and off -> on throttle smoothness. Given you mentioned you have done many of these, what's your opinion on this and how do you program STV when tuning these bikes?

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  Před 7 měsíci +3

      If you're doing any kind of racing with it then I recommend removing them. If you street ride then I recommend leaving them in so they can help with the smooth on off throttle and better (more linnear) powerband so it's a better riding experience.

    @yourmom922 Před 7 měsíci +1

    This got me curious - have you ever done a back to back dyno test with the ONLY change being the chain size? Like I’m thinking a 520 might make what - 2-3 hp more than a 525?

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  Před 7 měsíci +1

      I have not done that test in years but I did do one about 5 years ago on a zx14r and it actually went from a stock wheelbase to a small stretch. I can't remember the exact chsin and sprocket setup we ran, but the bike gained roughly 3-4whp changing it over.
      Now, not every bike is going to see gains like that but I usually see a bump in like 2-3 whp gains switching to very good chain and sprocket combo.

  • @Dream-Academy

    0:36 " now normally I don't recommend doing full tunes if you still have the cat" but in some places the police checks and test means running a cat is the only legal and safe way to run on the street. I think the Suzuki computer is set to adjust the tune to just a slipon . The hp and torque gains don't seem much on your tune, but how much of an improvement was there is less scratchiness and smoothness over the stock tune with auto adjust to a slip-on? Also how much mpg is lost without the cat? Surely more fuel is used without a cat?

    Can you guys tune a 2018 triumph street triple rs? I called a few places about 2 years ago and everyone I called said they couldn’t. Some thing about triumph having a lock code on their ecu’s or something along those lines.

    • @provenpowercycles
      @provenpowercycles  Před 7 měsíci

      Yeah triumph is weird. They go off of Vin numbers. If you can supply that, then I can get a better idea as to if we can do it. They dance around all the different makes and models with being able to tune them.

    Dynojet……typical fake number dynos, all runs made in forth gear, and tuned to “AFR”
    The tune is wrong, your process is wrong, no one that truly knows how to tune an engine does not tune to an AFR or do the passes in one gear only. True power is about 20% less.
