Market value on that audi ev is certainly not $70,000 my friend. Your auction dealer friends let you know pretty clear what they All thought.
There's a British guy on YT who bought a top spec Porsche Taycan about 18 months ago for £120K (USD 153K) and he became to hate it & wants to sell. His Porsche dealer does not want to take it in part exchange & he's been offered between £27K & £45K from other dealers ... for an 18 month old Porsche !!!
Craig seems to be a common story. A friend bought a Lightning for $95k and after just 1500 miles decided to sell it because of limited range. CarMax and Carvana both offered $39k for the vehicle.
Electric cars are going to be like a washing machine, not worth anything on resale
I don't think you will get anyone near 70k for it. You'll be lucky to get 40 or 50k.

Why do you act surprised if get screwed on price when you try to sell a rapidly depreciating EV at a dealer only auction? You are only ever going to get a trade or below offer at best!! Anyway it makes good clickbait because we all love to see a dealer get shafted on a deal😁
Moral of story only buy car you're prepared to keep for a number of years, that also is not an ev.

Hey Craig, no worries, people paid $50k over sticker for Tesla Plaids ($150k) and they are now worth $75k. You will be fine! Black widow is an aftermarket upfit package, Grille, lift, wheels, brake caliper covers, leather interior upgrades. A major waste of money!

Why not sell the ETron on Bring a Trailer or some other nationwide auction where you'd get a lot more qualified buyers than a local auction?
An Audi GT with the same mileage and year around here is $60k. There are 4 of them available at that price point. I am not sure about the market in Danville, but at 70k it would be too high here.
