- hi guys! this week i got my wisdom teeth taken out! i was literally so scared leading up to it. i overthought it for sure because in the end it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. i also grew up watching all these videos of people getting their teeth out and thought it was sooo funny. so here is mine! how many funny videos lke this!?

YES omg i was dying at the "but i don't have a tongue" because when i got mine out, i was sitting in the recovery room crying because i was convinced they took my tongue💀💀 i acted super similar to your reaction! especially in the car lmaoo i started reciting old popular vines and my mom just kept telling me to stop talking because i was bleeding LMFAO

You’re so lucky you had an easy recovery! It took me 2 full weeks just to not be in extricating pain! My wisdom teeth were so far back in the gum, that they had to crush part of my jaw bone to extract the teeth so I was super swollen and black and blue for weeks. I would wake up crying and screaming into my pillow with the level of pain I was in! And I’m a migraine sufferer so I have a good pain tolerance usually. Never again!!

wow i'm going thru it right now, day 4 tomorrow... i thought i had it bad! i can't believe they'd have to crush someone's jaw to get the teeth out. so sorry that happened to you.
Fun fact: here in England it isn’t common practice to remove wisdom teeth like it is in America. Wisdom teeth generally aren’t removed unless they are causing you trouble/pain

@kenzie.ziegler, I had my wisdow teeth out when I was 15 and had a very similar experience to you. I too was scared of getting the needle and going under, but my dentist also held my hand and talked to me about dance since I too was a dancer growing up! :) I honestly don't remember the car ride home, but remember waking up on our couch lol. Glad you're recovering well!
I’m 16 and i got my 5 teeths removed in summer 2023 and i was awake all the surgery while they removed them and it hurted so much. And today i just found out that i’m about to get wisdom teeth, my wisdom teeth it’s starting to grow, and i’m so SCARED because i don’t wanna to get my teeth removed again.

Great job Kenz! I once had to have a surgery similar to this in 2nd grade and I was literally hilarious after lol - wish I had a video cause I said “water ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I haven’t seen you in soooooooooooooooooo long” and a bunch of other stuff 🤣😭💞

I got mine out in 10th grade and it went really fast. I didn't have any pain at all after the anesthesia wore off. Plus I was able to eat regular food a day after. You're such a cutie omg. Lol.🥰🖤
