As I stood there I watched how the store personnel were working. I saw one of the employees talking on the phone and she was rubbing her teeth while talking. About food safety, what is safer? a poorly clean but organic food, or clean processed food with chemicals?
    A big culture shock for americans when they travel aboard is when they see that everywhere in the world people store their eggs at room temperature and not in the fridge, and that is because the US is the only country where they wash their eggs with chemicals and those chemicals disolve the natural protective layer of the eggs. Again, where is the food safer?

    • @TheYarbros
      @TheYarbros  Před 3 lety

      The food is safer wherever it doesn't make you sick. Organic or inorganic. Ppl from the US get sick when they come here and are not selective of what they eat. In the US food may kill your organs but you won't spend 2 days on the toilet due to poisoning. That was our point.

    A commemt on the 'quality for price', it is possible here, but I do recon that the way I purchased so here was different than when I did so in the UK. Here usually you need to go to the center of the cities, to the bustling streets and get yourself in there. You'll find all the quality items at accesible prices. Whatever you need: beddings, kitchen cooking equipment, electronics, absolutely anything. Most big cities centers have streets that specialise on something specific. I live in a relatively small city, where finding things was much tougher than say, Guadalajara, Queretaro or CDMX, but drifting, being patient and getting some miles down searching for items always led to great purchases for a great price. My family has Jewish ascent, and not to be stereotypical, but we have been always kinda cheap but tough on the quality of what we get. We've never payed high prices and yet gotten everything at top quality in a small town. It's just the techniques that change, but in time and asking around locals you'll find your good quality items for a reasonable price ;)

Prisoner: “Look at all that ugly mud, and we have to work in it tomorrow! 2nd prisoner, looking up: “OMG, look at all those beautiful stars” ! ! In MX. I look for all the beauty that abounds….and the bad things are equal to all the bad in USA and the rest of the world…You two young people are talented, wonderful camera work, Likable, bubbly and special. But sensationalizing your material is not YOU! I like you or I would not be here! Don’t become targets by involvement in matters we gringos have no say in. At least its open in MX as opposed to acting as if it doesn't exist in the USA. Same thing goes on here, its just more corporate and covert. In MX you stay out of politics and mind your business and pray you are not in the wrong place at the wrong time. We just got back from Guadalajara, it was really nice. Checked out Chapala, Ajijic and Jocotepec. It was all that. Can't wait to come back (next time its about Queretaro and SMdA). Its a universal principle but you do usually get what you pay for.
    What we found and observed (REALLY observed) in MX was for Breakfast, lunch and dinner, lots of sugar is involved in all meals. We usually only eat once or twice a day (starting at noon) even then we ate way more sugar there than we normally would (that mexican Gelato was the bomb, even had tequila flavor!). Its why alot of natives are over weight.

But, it's between the cartels that want the biggest peace of the pie. #1clients are next door. Different kind of violence. Here you don't see guys coming into a mall shooting innocent people around. But here in México whit all of the problems that we face, we still enjoy life; ask the yarbros and go out to the movies, it's not like we're all bunkdown in our homes in fear.
