As a former Rocket League main, I can confirm that both Val and Rocket League are HEAVILY affected by momentum. To be fair, Rocket League is more of a mental momentum while Val is affected by the in-game economy momentum, but Valorant definitely has a HUGE mental momentum factor to it. Getting wiped two or three rounds in a row really screws with people's mindsets.
