Welcome back to a brand new Touristenfahrten (Public driving) video from the Nurburgring Nordschleife, this time with the highlights of Easter Sunday. It was actually one of the first very nice days of the year with 16 degrees, however toward the end of the day the rain & hail came meaning very tricky conditions. Had an RS3 Quattro 2 years ago...one of the worst awd systems i have driven. Driving now an Mitsubishi Evo 9 and that's something else 👌

New Rs3 8Y it's another driving galaxy, mine is surprising me more and more, plus it turns faster than the new M2 here at the Nurburgring
@@pacpacpacpacpac Most cars with haldex systems are not really enjoyable on race tracks, sometimes even unpredictable. Because they only drive the front wheels - and if the sensors register wheelspin, only then the rear wheels will also be connected. To be fair: Quite common with FWD based cars where the engine is mounted transversely. AMG 45 the same thing.
Lancer Evos and Imprezas have a different system - very expensive to build tho. Most customers wont need AWD anyway. Or they will only experience the limits on a traffic light.

I drive one to and I agree, I don't drive like that, it's not a race it's a touristenfarth, wanna race do a real trackday or go race for real. I never had trouble on the ring besides maybe a rental car but besides that always porsche gt3 or gt3 rs drivers, they are the worst.
I just find this style disrespectful and it has nothing to do with fun, it's arrogantly arrogant and stupid. But not everyone will be like that, I hope what do you Porsche drivers actually say about that?
@@Tiefschwarz_ I agree with you and I don't drive like that and never will, I only drive a cayman but wouldnt matter kinda porsche I'de drove I would stay the same. I also have an rs3 which is heavely tuned and when comming to performance I already ate every gt3 on the track, most of the times at the beginning at the long straight they put the pedal to the floor and see me just drive away from them, most of the time they are so butthurt because their ego's can't take it they do some stupid shit like pass when I a already passing a car or even go offtrack just to pass me, it's ridiculous.

I love these videos but it must be so boring being there. All there are are BMWs, Porches, Audi's etc. And I am saying this as a BMW driver! Loved the Honda NSX though!!
