Hi Eggies!!! We're going to thrift stores that I don't shop at often! Ever since I moved to DTLA these thrift locations have become harder to commute to so let's check them out. The goal was to find coquette inspired items but in the end found a handful of fairy grunge pieces. Keep watching to see which items I found!

For the ballet top, even just a pair of black flares like the ones you found without the lace up detail and some pink ballet flats (or even just your black boots) would look super cute.
I think it would suit a balletcore warm-up/training outfit with their lighter wraps and black tights~

But I feel youuu I went to the 6th st location a few days ago and everything I picked up was shein, fashion nova, or wild fable!!! But I promise when they put out the donated deadstock itâs sooo good!!! Haha right!! La thrift prices were such a shock for me too but Defs get that 20% off if you subscribe to goodwill emails!

The ballet core poufy top is so cute. Personally, Iâd style it with leggings probably grey with pink leg warmers and a ballet flat!
That Ballet core top would look awesome with a short tulle skirt in white or pink. The skirt should kinda have a little Petticoat cut. So frilly and flowy, and flares out beautifully while twirling around
The brown skirt makes me think of some sort of steam punk costume, itâs so prettyy

For styling the pink ballet top, try finding a tutu that can possibly go under it well? Iâm not super sure, but those vintage shorts you had with them were really cute!

For the zipper just use a pair of pliers to press down the top and bottom. This narrows the gap for the zipper and it should close up nicely :)

Honestly what you did with the bloomers was so cute !! Tbh a wild idea but to go off the actual ballerina theme, I think a short soft pink tutu would go off !! I also think anything frilly could work like a frilly white mini skirt. Honestly even a regular white mini skirt too. And idk I feel like white leg warmers would also be sooo cute :))

for the ballet top, maybe a flared white skirt underneath? low rise might look cute, and not too long so it kind of looks like the skirt and top are a one-piece dress? or some thick white bike shorts a bit shorter than what you're wearing underneath in the try-on section? long flared pants? make even a midi silk pink slip to kind of match the bodice of the top (so it kind of looks like the flared tulle-esque white material is just an add-on/decoration) to a slip? honestly that top looks like an easy piece to style BUT an incredibly difficult piece to style WELL. đ

Lowrise jeans, low rise capris or bellbottoms work well with the ballet top,,, also a snug waist wrap skirt or midi skirt will work well. :)
if you ever find a tiered tulle skirt the same material/color as the UO top, i think it would be perfect together!!

OMG at 4:38 they're playing Weather With You by Crowded House!!!! Such a legendary kiwi classic, never thought I'd hear it in any American shit, that's so dope!
So the slip dress that you need to repair, if itâs just sewing that edge down what I would do is strategically place single stitches along the bottom of the edge and then on the right side of the fabric sew a little satin bow or flower to cover the stitches! You might even be able to get away with a single on in the center! Another way to go is to add a lace trim and sew everything with one row of stitches. This kind of fabric is hard to work with so I recommend as little sewing as possible until you have more experience with slippery fabrics. Also you could always just cut the top off and make a skirt or cut up the whole thing and make a scarf top, scrunchies, bandana, pillowcase. Anything that you would use silky fabrics for. Also the black pants with the broken zipper, I donât know if they are worth the time but a super easy solution would be to add a hook and eye at the top and then a couple of the sew on metal snaps along the rest of the fly. They did look so good on you!
For the ballet core arianna grande dress it would look really cute with like a white/cream dainty tiered/layered mini skirtâŠ. Also tights and flats will pull it more ballet over arianna.
