I applied/registered with Avant few months ago. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines with a Master's degree as well and with 16+ years of diverse nursing experience. Presently residing in Canada with an LPN degree. I was told by the recruiter that I won't qualify unless I will process my RN in Canada. I told her that I am an RN in the Philippines, I am a USRN under New York State. I have a recent IELTS certificated and Visa Screen Certificate. But still I was told that I don't qualify. Anyways, its ok.

OET announced the Florida and Oregon Boards of Nursing now accept OET for US licensure processing. “OET’s approval by Nursing regulators in the states of Florida and Oregon will be written into the respective states’ rules by the end of 2020”, so while it seems it will be accepted, it is not yet accepted by the Boards for NCLEX. It depends. This is discussed during the selection process.
My application with Avant was not approved because, my current clinical experience does not qualify me to move ahead for program consideration, as my current facility does not meet the program requirements comparable to US standards.
However, I wish to change to another facility. But how do I know whether the new facility will meet the programme requirements comparable to US standards? Can Avant help me review the new facility?

OET announced the Florida and Oregon Boards of Nursing now accept OET for US licensure processing. “OET’s approval by Nursing regulators in the states of Florida and Oregon will be written into the respective states’ rules by the end of 2020”, so while it seems it will be accepted, it is not yet accepted by the Boards for NCLEX.
