@@everyday4play401 well, I didn't cry, but it just doesn't seem to be in me to cry anymore. I didn't even cry when my grandpa died in 07. Doesn't mean I'm not deeply sad though. I completely avoided the channel for several days after seeing the Thick Tribute stream in my recommendations. I knew what that meant, and it hurt to even read the title. So I took some time to deal with it.
Now, instead of watching the tribute, I'm watching this. This video was made to honor thick while he was still alive. Nothing will be said here that isn't something the guys wouldn't say to his face. That's the problem with post mortem memorials, people always say things that sound phoney, because they'd never say it to the living person.

Every time Thick had a plan I fully believed he was going to pull it off, and I loved how he fully jumped in with his self confidence every time too. The times his plans actually worked had me cheering and laughing, I love the pluckiness and optimism. My husband and I never laughed so much and enjoyed watching others gaming as much as the Neebs gaming team with the antics, fails, ribbing each other, and give-it-a-go optimism every time. Found out thick passed yesterday today and I immediately had to come adlnd watch him again. I was hoping so much that I'd get to hear his voice come on ark one more time. I'm so sorry about yalls loss I've lost a few people from cancer and it's the worst thing to see ever. I'm heartbroken but yall stay strong

I didn't know Thick personally, but he has been a part of my life, 3 days a week for the past decade. It may seem silly to be so emotional for a stranger, but I got to know a little more each day. For the first few months my heart would break hearing Thick's voice, and tears would freely fall. It was hard to watch his old videos, as I'm sure it was and still is for a lot of people.
Now I hear his voice, and it still hurts like hell; but it's also a massive comfort knowing that we can go back to watch these and remember all the incredible, epic, hilarious adventures the Wyvern King Thick44 brought us with his brothers.
You will be forever loved Human Man Warrior. Thank you for everything. 💜
My partner and I watched all the 7days playthroughs several times. It was and still is something of a comfort medium for us and in the new Darkness Falls series we waited every episode for Thick to return. The news of his passing made both of us really sad. I have never been seriously sad about the passing of a stranger before.
Maybe it’s because you didn’t feel like a stranger to us.
Thank you man, for giving us so much comfort and fun times. So many silly adventures and stunts. For giving so much of yourself to a community that loves you. I hope you have it good, wherever you are now.

Not sure if you guys will see this but wanted to put it out there just in case. I run a small ark role-playing server that I create stories for for the maps without, for players to Interact with through quests, events and unique boss fights.
You guys have been my inspiration. And I must say thick44 was always a joy to watch. I would love to use a thick44 "wyvern king" character in my latest maps(fjordur) finale. With yours and his families blessings. I just hope to do a small part in honoring the legend and keeping him alive in our hearts.
I started watching you guys in 2016. I was extremely sick and stuck in bed for weeks with an infection that was attacking my joints. I couldn't walk or move much at all. I don't normally comment but your channel was extremely uplifting for me and got me to a better place mentally at that time. Which is something I can't thank you guys enough for. To see the passing of Thick44 was a major shock and I'm sorry for your loss. His memory WILL live on in these videos. I appreciate everything you guys have done.

Never met these guys irl but in my head they’re like characters in a book. Never expected something like this would happen. My condolences to Thick’s family and friends.
