I haven’t checked through all the comments yet but, as an English person, that ‘hollow puff pastry’ looked very much like a Yorkshire pudding (which is basically just hollow roasted batter!). It could be broken up and used to scoop up potato or gravy, or some people put jam on it and have it for dessert!

Those gift shops.... Absolutely amazing. More effort went into these than some Disney rides I've seen lately. ( InsideOut = all decals ) The attention to detail like the former pool that was boarded over and turned into a gift shop. If you hadn't mentioned that, I wouldn't have looked at the floor and thought about why there's a perimeter of pool tile. Brilliant. Also agreed on Ghostbusters. Every one of us that knew about the S.E.A. saw that scene and picked up on the connection. To be fair, Aykroyd aims for historical fact before building fiction, and those type of societies did exist before the fictional S.E.A. but in the context of that hotel, and Harrison Hightower? Yeah. You weren't the only one that picked up on that.

Yes. My eye was drawn to OG Gosalyn Mallard. She can be seen interacting with one of the nephews in the "Duck Family portrait". Obviously young Gosalyn isn't a relative of Donald's...Nor was the TV show she debuted in (1991's "Darkwing Duck") connected in any way to 1987's "Ducktales" (at least until the 2017 reboot, where Gosalyn got a redesign and they established a shared universe). Odd that they left out an actual biological relative (Gus), but sprung for a character who IS a duck, but considering the source material her design uses, couldn't even be considered a "family friend". Still a neat piece though!

It's scary to think that road and monorail are hidden behind this red bridge.
obsessed with being "integrated with the sea."
The bridge on which this train runs was also built to make it look like Mediterranean Harbor is connected to the sea.

Don't encourage your veiewers to film on attractions at T.D.R., Tom 🤦‍♂️ All it takes is just ONE gaijin tourists who accidentally drops his or her phone attempting to film the rides like Journey and Tower of Terror to cause the O.L.C. to make the exisiting rules even tighter or ban the use of any electronic devices on attractions. The animoisty towards foreign tourists among Japanse park goers or even citizens, in general, is already high as is. We love foreign tourists who are respectful and obey by our rules and manners; we just don't need gaijin who break our rules and end up bothering (called 迷惑) us here in Japan. The American mentality of "It's okay, let them complain. I'm filming safely." doesn't work in Japan. Things get stricter and stricter or outright banned when someone breaks our rules VERY quickly. What happened to the Lawson near Mt.Fuji is the most recent instance I could give you. You don't wanna be that guy who ruins Japan for everyone else. If you do come across someone filming like that guy sitting in front of you on Journey, please tell them not to do it.

@@a61374 You don't understand how Japan and its culture function. Over here. the rules are rules, and you will be ashamed and labeled as a disgrace in one way or another if you disobey them. People self police each other in Japan unlike any other nations. Tokyo Disney is NOT your Disney: it is OUR Disney resort. Japan is not a theme park where tourists come in and create their social media contents in ways that disrupt our rules and standards. Tom and one other gaijin tourist are clearly breaking the rules set by the O.L.C on Journey in this video just for the sake of their individual pleasure. There are way more rules in Japan than any other nations out there; some rules are clearly stated, while other ones are not. Nonetheless, the rules apply. Just a couple of days ago, as another example, Shibuya Ward decided to completely ban public drinking from 5pm to 5am all year around BECAUSE foreign tourists kept breaking laws and rules by throwing away trash on streets and causing a bunch of other issues. Things get cracked down VERY quickly here if you don't follow the rules. Hope you outsiders understand this if you wanna visit or live here. It's not me being a Karen: this is me warning you based on what I have seen and experienced as a Japanese citizen for more than three decades.
