The DVD is supposed to capture the feel of Jörg's final finnish tour, not a world tour. Your question is completely out of place, given the fact that I never asked THIS DVD to be recorded here, but just hoping for a future recording in this venue. Given the fact that you are also a Stratovarius fan, you know very well if they included that gig on the DVD or not. Do not insult my intelligence, or you'll be insulting your own, or lack of it.
I much prefer a sound mix like this rather than for example an Iron Maiden release. Sometimes the crowd are louder than the band on their releases. Yes we want to hear that the crowd are there but we also want to hear the band.
It's hard to sing metal like this in standard tuning but it's too weird hearing it in a completely different lower key. The power isn't as brutal. He also lets the crowd sing too much to relax his vocals during high parts. Vocalists get it the worst with age, hard to keep that voice so powerful.
I don't know, but when he played this song in Moscow in 29.11 It sounded pretty amazing, much better than how it was here. His vocal shape HAS improved this year and it's quite easy to notice in the last few months.
Despond You are right. But there are exceptions like Michael Kiske who is still able to perform songs like I want out in standart tuning. He once told an interviewer that your voice is like an instrument and you have to be carefull all of your carreer with it (no smoking, no heavy drinking etc...). If you do you will be still able to sing like in your glory days.
+Despond I was thinking the same, he's 46 over 47 years already, maybe Timo needs a break to relax his voice and get time to feel better with his vocals

Have you seen Kotipelto's performance of Father Time in this same show? Absolutely awesome, he did all the high parts very near to perfection
This song in D lose energy. It's sad that Kotipelto desn't reach the notes anymore :(
