Can you use carbide teeth on the DC rotors? I have a chance to pick up a rig that has the BH74SS head pretty reasonable but it has the depth control rotor on it with knife blades and I have not been able to determine if the carbide teeth can be used on these rotors with the rings. We use carbides around here due to all the sand & sandstone. I just have zero experience with the DCR heads and cant seem to find a lot of information on them. I just dont want to make an expensive mistake buying a head that can ONLY run knives.
I honestly don’t know that, Fecon would answer your question I’m sure and get you set up with whatever you need… my personal thought is you should be able to run either or but again I don’t know.
