$38.000 is a lot of money for a bike. I have a 1200 GS and test road the new 1250 looking to possibly trade in my 1200. Absolutely awesome bike, but riding my own back home still realising how good my 1200 is. Think I'll wait for a while and check the new r1300gs which we'll probably see here in aus mid next year. awful way to review a bike. Take the grand american on the highway, take the GS on dirt tracks and side roads. I have two BMW GSs (2014 and 2023) and it is great bike but while it can do highways as any touring road bike, that is not the purpose of this machine.

Not the case mate 99% of people use them on the road not of road
