Many legendary bands couldn't survive the passing/parting of a significant member. Still Riverside decided to go on as a Trio, RESPECT. For them to mourn & honor their friend with such a brilliant tune, they proved the obvious, they are indeed a great talented band! This sounds like an intro to another amazing Riverside Era

MultiKmicic SBB sure very good but little bit different style and of course much longer in existence than Riverside so you got a good point but i still take Riverside over SBB any day.Just my opinion i guess that Riverside music is more accessible than SBB over all. SBB is definitely great band ! No doubt !!! Cheers !! Long live prog rock !!!

Piotr actually wrote some of the music on this album, including the new material. This is the last album you will hear original music from him, almost like a last gift from him.
Had the pleasure of seeing Riverside play 3 days ago, it was a hard gig for me due to the passing of Piotr but at the same time it left me with hope and ambition for Riverside's future.
Although Piotr is no longer with us physically, we and the rest of the Riverside family must look to the future whilst keeping him in our hearts and for me this show I attended marked the start of that process. Thank you to Mariusz, Michał and Piotr K, to Maciej for allowing Piotr G's sounds to be recreated for us, and of course thanks to Piotr Grudziński himself for the legacy he leaves. Peace and love to you all

Tak sobie myślę , że Riverside jest rzeczywiście jak Rzeka. U źródła zaczęli ostro jak górski potok i z płyty na płytę płyną coraz wolniej. Teraz to już nie strumyk skaczący po kamieniach , a potęga i majestat. Już nie tak ostro jak kiedyś, ale to wciąż ta sama rzeka...ten sam zespół. Płyńcie proszę jeszcze długo, a ja poddam się nurtowi tej RIVERside. Uwielbiam Was. Do zobaczenia na koncercie gdzieś ,kiedyś we Wrocku

This is going to be a very new and explorative release on October 21st, I can't wait. The ambient and electronic side of this band has always been strong and now we finally get a full length instrumental album. The inevitable question will be: "Impressions by Lunatic Soul, or Eye of the Soundscape by Riverside?" ;) Keep the great music coming! And RIP Piotr.

Wow completely new to what we've been hearing, much similar to lunatic soul song. This album's gonna be so awesome.
An interesting direction for the band, progressive electronic with a touch of Dream Pop...There are moments that remind me of Mike Oldfield and Vangeles but it's quite unique in itself. Looking forward to hearing more

I don't know how good is this on tune quality side... or I don't care. When I know what Riverside lost last winter, I can't heard they music in other way as emotional. And when this track going to his end, when I hear Duda's voice to the Gru's accords... gosh, I'm a men and mens don't cry, right? Well, that was a lie... Awesome music.

This album wasn't created from scratch. Many of the songs are songs Piotr and Mariousz were working on for an ambient album. This album is in honor to Piotr and his legacy.
Their "Riverside" sound will probably be back.
in the last statement, they left a hint that the next album could be heavy. Hoping for something ADHD-esque.
