Lovely home 😍 but I prefer one level. Access garage to house it super!!! That should be standard to all log homes.
But build these rooms in one floor where I live.......the money will rocket away. But I do not like stairs and climbing up and down.

I will say we just finished and moved into our log home. We planned every detail for years before starting it. But from the first drawing we did, we used this exact outside. This home help us so much and these people made it a little easier to base some of our decisions off of. Absolutely beautiful home here.

Love this home! Love that wrap-around deck, and the dramatic fireplace/view windows! Definitely going to get more information. When its time to build mine, I'm going to add or change to a few of the features and design elements featured in your other home tours. (Also interested in 3BR floor plans.) Every home I've viewed so far from Golden Eagle is absolutely gorgeous and the quality jumps-out at you!

Beautiful home! Nicely laid out. Love log homes so much we built our own...3400 sq ft plus a full basement....8x12 beams thru out entire first floor( 10 ft ceiling). Logs are all hand hewn with chinking in between. It was our dream so if anyone is thinking about building one, do it , you will not be disappointed ! A log home is such a good feel!

this is the one for me . I even have my custom modifications in mind all ready. Im still saving money to get majority of the budget ready... I plan on being able to start working with you guys probably in a year or so , but for now I have a lot to think about in the mean time. Cant wait to start working with you guys

A pantry worthy of a human being.
I love this home. I'm 62 years old, still looking for my lottery home. This would be it. One of my favorite movies, The Hateful Eight, could have been filmed in its entirety inside, except for the kitchen appliances and electric ceiling fans and lights, this is up to par with a luxury home from the Civil War era. Even the Spencer rifle over top the front door. Nothing over the top size wise, and nothing too small. A truly humble, spacious luxury build.
The quality of the detailing displays a humble aura of confidence, that is if logs were to have confidence. I truly wish I could have a free sample of this home.

BEAUTIFUL
The second floor could be extended rather than having a void in the grand room. The first floor layout is great, especially the corridor flanked by the bedroom, bath and pantry. Though I'd rather the bathroom be connected to the bedroom.

Beautiful. I like that you give the option of making the kitchen lighter with white cabinetry. The wrap around porch, walk-in pantry are my favorites. What states are you building these in?
The kitchen is well designed for serving food, but poorly designed for food preparation. There is very little counter space for food prep outside of the serving area, and too much floor space for people to gather in the work area.

The home in the video also has a slightly larger garage, custom cabinetry, clad wood windows, saddle notch corners, 10ft tall basement walls, half log on dormers, and some other custom touches. So look to spend approx. +$40,000 more = $630,000 total. Lot costs are extra.

It looks great EXCEPT for the upstairs master suite. Older people do not want to go up and down stairs.
We do see a large push for a main floor master and eliminating all steps. Today when you build with us we generally design everything for ageing in place. No steps between the garage and home, etc.
@@goldeneagleloghomes I've been thinking a lot about aging in place homes. Also been thinking about raised homes because I live in Texas where we have to worry about hurricanes each year. Just looking for a little expertise here. Do you think it'd be better to build a 1 story home on a raised foundation to make sure it can't get damaged by flood?
I would take off the pitch off the garage roof and make a terrace on top of it.

this would be my dream forever home.I wish I lived in this home now while on quarantine. I'd love to be on acres of land away from people.I live in a small rented apartment so small no room depressing.I hope to one day be a homeowner I don't know if it'll ever happen (very depressed but love Jesus ) so I hold unto Faith because He is who I need.I'm trying to be positive and this viewing does help.Lord willing,i will be a homeowner.
