Hi! I have a question... How do you decide the size of the squares of the top part of the bag? Why did you use 3cmx2,5cm ? And not 3x3 or 2,5x2,5?
I always make something wrong in this part... Is it possible to cut the boxes after a sew the ziper? Could you make someday a tutorial?

Because the zipper needs to be sewn on the top of the bag.
They are not the same size.
3cm x 2.5cm is correct.
